Salary Range: € 76,800 - € 105,600 gross per year, depending on experience

JOB PURPOSE
As Sales Lead Home Care Belgium, you are responsible for the commercial success of the key Belgian customers within the Home Care category. In this senior Key Account Management role, you lead the accounts end-to-end: from strategic direction and P&L ownership to (supporting central) negotiations, execution, and performance management.
You lead a dedicated commercial team (KAM, JAM/CMA, and intern) reporting directly into you and are responsible for developing and executing winning Customer Business Plans. You take responsibility for specific retailers within the Home Care category. You connect Unilever’s strategic priorities with customer ambitions to deliver sustainable, profitable growth across brands, segments, and channels.
You act as a trusted sparring partner for senior stakeholders, both internally and externally, and play an active role within the BNX Home Care Commercial Team as well as the Belgium Commercial Leadership Team (CDLT). Operating in a highly competitive and dynamic retail environment, you take full ownership of the commercial agenda while shaping future-proof customer partnerships.
RESPONSIBILITIES
End-to-end responsibility for Belgian Home Care key accounts, including strategy, annual IBP process, P&L ownership, and delivery of results
Development, negotiation, and execution of annual Customer Business Plans, aligned with both customer and Unilever strategies
Development of promotion, pricing, and optimal assortment strategies per channel/customer to achieve SPI and UPG targets.
Define launch plans for innovation to channel and customers
Preparation of annual commercial and price negotiations, including scenario modelling and decision-making
Monthly performance tracking and analysis, with clear actions on turnover, margin, promotions, and portfolio mix
Coach, develop and challenge the commercial account team through strong people leadership
Close collaboration with cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, CSP) to ensure flawless execution
Active contribution to strategic Home Care projects and broader commercial decision-making forums
Build and deepen senior-level customer relationships, focused on long-term value creation and partnership development
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
Strong commercial leadership with proven people management experience
Solid experience in P&L management, performance tracking, and data-driven decision-making
Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills
High degree of proactivity, independence, and ownership
Strong relationship management and negotiation skills at senior customer level
Analytical mindset with the ability to translate insights into clear commercial actions
Prioritisation: assessing which activities to implement for maximum impact in the different channels and category
Growth mindset combining creativity with strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
Ability to thrive in a complex, fast-moving FMCG and retail environment
Fluent in English. Dutch and/or French are a big plus
