JOB PURPOSE:

The R2R Sr. Manager is a key member of the Controllership organization responsible for ensuring strong financial stewardship, healthy balance sheet management, and effective end-to-end controllership across key processes value streams. The position plays a key role as the country-facing partner facilitating interactions between Regional & Country Controllers, Market Finance teams, Global Centers of Expertise, Control Tower, Risk Managers and other Financial Services Service Lines. The R2R Sr. Manager drives operational excellence, provides proactive business partnership, and leads continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen financial governance, enhance decision-making, and support the evolution of a more standardized, digitally enabled, and future-fit finance organization.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES:

Financial Stewardship, Governance & End-to-End Controllership Leadership

• Ensure integrity, accuracy, and completeness of financial reporting in accordance with accounting standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.

• Provide end-to-end oversight of key controllership processes, ensuring accountability, governance, and operational excellence across the finance value chain.

• Lead the identification, escalation, and resolution of financial, operational, and compliance risks.

• Support internal and external audits, statutory reporting activities, and remediation of audit findings.

• Drive adoption of global standards while ensuring local business, regulatory, and statutory requirements are appropriately managed.

Business Partnering & Stakeholder Management

• Act as a trusted advisor to Regional Controllers and Market Finance leadership teams. Support judgment based and ad-hoc activities and projects.

• Provide insight, challenge, and recommendations on accounting matters, balance sheet performance, controls, and financial risks.

• Build strong relationships across Markets, R2R Operations, Treasury, Tax, FP&A, and Global Finance teams and other service lines including but not limited to including R2R, S2P, O2C, Tax, Treasury, FP&A

Transformation, Simplification & Digital Enablement.

• Lead and support initiatives, from design to adoption, focused on process simplification, standardization, and organizational effectiveness.

• Identify opportunities to improve productivity through automation, analytics, AI-enabled solutions, and digital tools.

• Support the implementation of future finance capabilities, operating model enhancements, and process transformation initiatives.

• Drive change management efforts and help build organizational readiness for evolving finance capabilities.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

Experience

• Proven record leading Finance, Accounting, Controllership, Audit, Financial Compliance, or Recordto-Report operations.

• Experience operating in global, regional, or shared services environments. • Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder networks across functions and geographies.

• Proven track record of driving process improvements, transformation initiatives, or operating model enhancements.

• Experience balancing operational delivery with strategic improvement initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related discipline. • Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CIMA, CMA, CA, or equivalent is preferred.

• Continuous learning mindset with interest in emerging finance technologies and digital capabilities.
