BUSINESS CONTEXT:
This role is to be the Global brand manager lead for the Glow & Lovely Global BG team. In addition to PTAB, this role provides an opportunity to work on Global markets like Indonesia.

Glow and Lovely, is Unilever’s 3rd largest Skin care brand, and is part of the Business group called Beauty & Wellbeing (B&W). B&W is a key priority for Unilever, and is home to iconic products, cutting-edge science, and purposeful growth.
Born in 1975, Glow & Lovely (GAL) is a 500Million Euro brand, spread over 20 countries (South Asia, SEA, Arabia) and is the #1 skin care player in its top markets. It has built the skin care market in south Asia with its superior product technology and persuasive marketing.
After its name change in 2020, the brand has been on a journey of recrafting its architecture, tonality and imagery to appeal to the stepping out woman of today. It has gone from being a pure core brand to innovating in segments like sun and serum to become a true Masterbrand.

JOB PURPOSE
Glow & Lovely is offering a Brand Crafting role to do some fundamental work on Core + exciting new innovations. The brand is evolving from the memory of a legacy portfolio to now building itself as a transformation led master brand. This role provides an opportunity to work on Global markets across platforms.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
Brand Strategy
• Strong business understanding – from external and internal PoV.
• Ability to translate market forces and cat strategy into long-term brand strategy to unlock this underpenetrated category.
• Clear identification of the source of growth for all brand innovations and campaigns to help design JtbDs.

Consumer Intimacy
• Put the consumer at the heart of all strategy and execution.
• Identify real consumer problems and solve them using insightful innovations & impactful communications to drive brand growth.

Project Management
• Work with R&D, Supply Chain & Finance teams for bringing to life the innovation pipeline and ensure the timely delivery of projects.
• Ensure timely delivery of projects and help deliver business metrics of turnover, gross margin, and share.

Mix Design & Execution
• Create the comms strategy for the brand and bring it to life across all campaigns based on true consumer insights.
• Work with creative agencies and production houses to bring alive brand JtbDs through the process of issuing briefs, providing feedback, consumer testing, and final production.
• Create Brand Experience Toolkits to enable 360 deployments of campaigns across multiple media channels.
• Collaborate with R&D to create winning products on core and new innovations to help drive greater loyalty.
• Create pack designs with design agencies basis consumer insight and trade/channel realities.

Stakeholder Management
• Interface regularly with senior stakeholders from country, category, and brand to create and align long-term brand strategy.
• Co-create mixes with partners across all functions, both internal (R&D, SC, Finance, Procurement, etc.) and external (Creative, Pack Design, Consumer Research).

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

Experience & Qualification
• Master’s degree in marketing or business Administration OR Equivalent.

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in marketing


Skills:
• Be bold in thought and brave in action.
• Have a healthy disregard for the status quo.
• Strong consumer intimacy to unravel true consumer insights.
• Experience of working with cross-functional teams, both internal and external.
• Strong Project Management skills.
• Monitors progress & takes action.
