Unilever Bangalore Hub is the global technology and operations engine of Unilever offering business services, technology, and enterprise solutions. It serves over 190 locations and through a network of specialized service lines and partners delivers insights and innovations, user experiences and end-to-end seamless delivery making Unilever Purpose Led and Future Fit.

ComEx CD Finance is a new service line emerging in the Unilever Global Business services - Commercial experience. The team aims to transform, automate and centralize the finance activities performed by Unilever CD Finance markets to bring more efficiency, accuracy and better analytics.
Looking for a high performing candidate with learning attitude and analytical skills to manage operations and partner with teams within UniOps & Unilever Markets to land the TTS finance BAU operations, Improvements and projects

Key Responsibilities
• Operational Excellence & Delivery
o Execute day-to-day activities for the automated accrual process with high levels of accuracy and control.
o Manage end-to-end process delivery independently with minimal supervision, ensuring consistency and reliability.
o Meet agreed Turnaround Time (TAT) and accuracy targets in alignment with market calendars and service delivery commitments.

• Period-End Governance & Controls
o Ensure all activities are completed in line with monthly and month-end timelines, with zero defects and full SLA adherence.
o Perform pre-week and pre-month-end validation checks to proactively avoid process blockages.
o Support the full month end activities and close the activities On Time In Full (OTIF)
o prepare issue log and capture all issues
o Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to resolve issues On Time In Full (OTIF) and ensure uninterrupted accrual processing.
o Maintain robust process hygiene and control compliance in line with GFCF requirements, ensuring zero control deficiencies (CDRs).

• Journal Processing & Financial Close Support
o Prepare and post manual journal entries related to accruals, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
o Support financial close processes by partnering with ComEx R2R teams to deliver timely and insightful inputs.

• Financial Review & Reporting
o Provide meaningful commentaries for key governance forums, including:
 Trial Balance reviews
 Country Lock meetings
 Person Responsible for Financial Statements (PRFS) packs
 MR – Top down suport
o Ensure all deliverables are completed on time and in full with strong analytical insights.
o Support for the local reporting process and timely delivery without any issues or delays

• Issue Management & Continuous Improvement
o Track, analyze, and resolve process errors and issues in a timely manner.
o Liaise with IT support teams via ticketing systems to address system-related challenges.
o Monitor dashboards and analytical tools to proactively identify risks and raise tickets where required.

• Stakeholder Management & Communication
o Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for stakeholders, providing clear updates, insights, and action-oriented recommendations.
o Drive effective collaboration with business, market, and IT teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

• Governance & Performance Management
o Facilitate periodic governance calls to review process performance, accuracy metrics, and improvement opportunities.
o Drive a culture of performance discipline and continuous improvement through structured feedback and insights.

• Transformation & Capability Building
o Actively contribute to automation, simplification, and process transformation initiatives.
o Support onboarding of new markets and expansion projects as part of BAU delivery.
o Enable data-led decision-making through the use of analytics, dashboards, and reporting tools.

• Audit & Compliance Support
o Support internal and external audits by providing data, documentation, and process explanations as required.

Skills & Experience Required
• Experience & Functional Expertise
o Minimum 4+ years of experience in Finance, with mandatory exposure to Record-to-Report (R2R) processes.
o Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles; exposure to O2C processes is an added advantage.
o Knowledge of global finance reporting / management reporting preferred.

• Systems & Digital Capability
o Hands-on experience in SAP and BlackLine is mandatory.
o Strong proficiency in MS Excel; basic working knowledge of Power BI and analytics tools.
o Ability to interpret dashboards and drive insights for performance management.

• Stakeholder & Behavioral Skills
o Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across global teams.
o Strong execution focus with the ability to work under high-pressure, tight-deadline environments
o Proven ability to work collaboratively as a team player & Self motivated, with a proactive learning mindset.
o Demonstrated focus on innovation, process improvements, and technical problem-solving.
