Role Purpose

The Logistics FLM / Shipping Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient execution of finished goods outbound operations. This includes selection and picking, inventory accuracy, shipment preparation, PGI execution, documentation generation, transport readiness, dock coordination, and operational discipline through ECC SAP and EWM. The role ensures daily shipping plans are delivered on time, in full, with the right quality, traceability, and customer service mindset.

The role leads frontline teams and partners with Planning, Customer Service, Manufacturing, Quality, SHE, Transportation, 3PL providers, and Warehouse teams to eliminate losses, sustain standard work, improve service reliability, and build logistics capability through UMS methodology, data-driven decisions, and continuous improvement routines.

Key Responsibilities
1. Shipping Operations, Selection and Dispatch Execution

  • Lead daily finished goods selection, picking, staging, consolidation, loading, shipment confirmation, and dispatch execution according to the shipping plan.

  • Develop and manage shipment plans based on inventory availability, customer requirements, and distribution center demand.

  • Coordinate dock assignments, truck flow, loading priorities, carrier readiness, and dispatch schedules to ensure service continuity.

  • Ensure correct execution of PGI transactions in SAP ECC and SAP EWM, maintaining alignment between physical and system activities.

  • Guarantee shipment documentation is completed, validated, and available before product dispatch.

  • Monitor the complete outbound flow from finished goods inventory through truck departure.

2. Inventory Accuracy and System Management

  • Ensure inventory accuracy through disciplined execution of warehouse and shipping transactions.

  • Drive compliance with SAP EWM and ECC transactional processes, including picking, packing, staging, loading confirmations, shipment status updates, and PGI execution.

  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.

  • Support inventory governance and continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational excellence.

3. Compliance, Standards and Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure compliance with CityPath operational standards and OEA requirements across shipping and distribution processes.

  • Promote safe and compliant logistics operations while maintaining service, quality, and productivity targets.

  • Identify process improvement opportunities related to logistics execution, inventory management, transportation, and warehouse operations.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to implement operational improvements and best practices.


WHAT DO YOU NEED TO APPLY?Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, International Trade, or related fields.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, distribution, shipping, transportation, or supply chain execution.

  • Experience leading frontline operational teams in warehouse, shipping, or logistics environments.

  • Strong SAP knowledge is required, particularly within logistics, warehousing, transportation, shipping, or distribution processes.

  • Hands-on experience with SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) or E2P is highly preferred.

  • Candidates without direct EWM experience may be considered if they possess strong SAP logistics expertise and are able to quickly learn the platform.

  • Experience with inventory control, shipment execution, warehouse transactions, and transportation processes.

  • Knowledge of CityPath and OEA certification requirements is highly desirable.

  • Experience within FMCG, consumer goods, manufacturing, distribution centers, or high-volume logistics operations is strongly preferred.

  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required; Power BI knowledge is a plus.
