Key Responsibilities

Procurement Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned categories.
  • Ensure compliance with Unilever’s procurement policies and governance standards.
  • Monitor market trends and provide insights for cost optimization and risk mitigation.

Supplier Management

  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, ensuring performance and continuous improvement.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to deliver value and secure supply.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, R&D) to align procurement with business priorities.
  • Represent procurement in category and project meetings.
  • Innovation & Sustainability
  • Support innovation projects and new product launches through timely sourcing.
  • Drive sustainability initiatives in line with Unilever’s responsible sourcing goals.

Cost Optimization & Risk Management

  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Develop contingency plans to ensure sourcing resilience and business continuity.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of procurement experience (FMCG or large-scale organization preferred).
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and project management skills.
  • Experience in supplier relationship management and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Advanced Excel and data analysis capabilities.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management.
  • Familiarity with procurement systems and digital tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
