The Unilever Future Leaders Programme (UFLP) is a 3-year scheme designed to prepare graduates for business leadership roles. The programme consists of a number of placements within and across functions, formal training, business mentorship and a short experience in field sales. |
The Unilever Summer and Industrial Placement Programmes enable you to learn on the job with real responsibilities, alongside a Unilever manager. |

Its because of this that as a Technology Management UFLP you will get to experience many different areas of the business and insight across the company that is rarely afforded to those in the other functions. Not only will you get to partner different functions, but you will also get to work closely with many of our technology collaborators including Microsoft, Google, Salesforce and many more. You will also get to experience areas of innovation that Unilever is investing in such as Artificial Intelligence, Virtual Reality, and Predictive Analytics. Through this, you will play a key role in Unilever’s drive to innovate for success whilst at the same time developing your own skills and experience. ”

 Momeena Khatun “I value the responsibilities I have been given as an apprentice, far more than I had expected, working alongside people at all levels of the business. I feel included as an individual and am supported by internal networking groups such as Women In Tech. Unilever encourages self-development alongside formal job roles, and has flexible work practices which support people in different circumstances. Working in the technology function, you get exposed to a range of projects, teams, and processes. This has given me the opportunity to contribute to Unilever’s innovation strategies and the digital landscape including the metaverse (e.g. Virtual Reality). Matthew Spedding “No career or job in Supply Chain is ever the same. We’re a team that features a huge amount of diversity - in people, roles, locations and workspaces and that is what makes it a great area to work in! I joined the business working in Leeds on a European project, working to source deodorants, like Lynx and Dove, in a smarter way. Just 12 months later, I moved to the European HQ in Rotterdam where I helped develop our newest (and tastiest) Ice Cream products! Along with variety, the responsibility given to each graduate is incredible. I was trusted to lead the team responsible for ensuring that the millions of pounds of orders we receive each day are processed accurately and on time. A lot of pressure, but you can always rely on a great support network of mentors, managers and experienced teammates.”
