What is BizMaestros x Unilever Future Leaders Programme?

Unilever BizMaestros is our annual flagship business competition that promises participants the thrill of real business by giving them a platform to work with our iconic brands, on real business problems to create real impact. This is an opportunity for students to create measurable impact while sharpening their business acumen, developing essential leadership skills, networking with professionals, and gaining invaluable corporate insights - opening to them a multitude of career opportunities.

The Unilever Future Leaders Programme (UFLP) - our 15-month management trainee journey, fast-tracks promising graduates and young professionals into managerial positions and builds leadership capabilities through intensive development, mentorship, and hands-on experience.

This year features a single application for BizMaestros and UFLP together, streamlining your path to career opportunities.

What’s Different This Year?

• Individual Registration for Round 1 – no Team Registration needed
• Register only once for both BizMaestros and UFLP
• Assessments will focus on your functional knowledge and analytical skills

What Can I Look Forward To?

• Champions will represent Team Bangladesh at the global stage – Unilever Future Leaders’ League where they will compete against representatives from around the world.
• Finalists will get an internship opportunity under Unilever Leadership Internship Programme.
• Participants will receive exclusive access to learning sessions and mentorship throughout the rounds.
• Finalists will progress directly to UFLP final interview rounds.
• Semi-finalists may get fast-tracked to other entry level recruitment assessments at Unilever Bangladesh.
  

What Are The Rounds This Year?

ROUND 1: Registration and Online Assessment

• This will be an online round with individual submission. Participants will be asked to solve questions related to functional knowledge and analytical skills in a timed test format. You will need to upload some answers as a video. You may use a phone or webcam. Before starting, keep these handy. Also ensure you are logged into your Gmail account to upload the video to Google Drive.

ROUND 2: Discovery Centre Round

• Shortlisted participants will be invited to Unilever Office for a day-long assessment centre. Further details will be sent to the participants prior to their assessment centre dates.

ROUND 3 PART 1: BizMaestros Grand Finale

• Shortlisted participants will be grouped into teams of 3. The finalist teams will then solve a case and present at the Grand Finale.

ROUND 3 PART 2: Final Interview with Unilever Bangladesh Management Committee

• Qualifying candidates from Round 2 will have a final interview round for UFLP with Unilever Bangladesh Management Committee.

What Is The Application Process?

1. Is The Registration Round Individual?

• Yes, the first round is individual submission. No team formation is required.

2. How Can I Register For Round 1?

To register for Round 1, please go through the following steps:

• Access the registration link by clicking the button for your chosen function in the ‘Apply Now’ section of the website.
• The link will direct you to a form. Fill out the form with your personal, academic, and extracurricular details.

Have the following ready:

• Personal Information (Full Name, Email Address, Contact Number)
• Academic Information (University Name, University Unique ID, CGPA)
• Extracurricular Activities / Work Experience

3. Submit the form to receive a unique assessment link via email. Ensure you have a few uninterrupted hours available and a stable device and internet connection before starting. Please note that you have to complete the assessment (may take up-to 2 hours) right after you have completed registration

4. Click on the assessment link in your email. Note the following to complete your assessment:

• Your assessment time will begin immediately upon clicking the assessment link.
• The assessment link will direct you to a timed assessment form that will have to be completed at one go.
• You will get 2 hours to complete this assessment form.
• The assessment form will automatically get submitted after 2 hours end.

5. Complete the assessment and submit the form.

Eligibility

Who Are Eligible To Participate?

• Current final year undergraduate students, across any discipline / department. Students will need to complete all course requirements (apart from internship course) by August 2025
• Participants with maximum 2 years of full-time work experience (must have completed Bachelor’s degree no earlier than June 2023)
• Candidates with a minimum passing CGPA of 2.5
• Students with international degrees are welcome to apply

If I Had Applied Last Year, Can I Reapply This Year?

You cannot reapply this year if you had applied to UFLP in any of the previous years.

Can I Apply To More Than One Function?

You can apply to one function only.

If you are found to have applied to more than one function, all applications might be disqualified or only the function you have first applied to may be considered.

Is There A Specific Major Requirement For The Function I will Apply To?

• For Go-to-Market function there is no specific major requirement
• For Finance function, you must have a finance major.
• For Supply Chain function, you must have an engineering degree.

General Information

1. Do We Have To Be Physically Present In Any Venue For Any Of The Rounds During The Competition?

Round 1 will be held online but for Round 2 & Grand Finale, participants will have to be present physically and present at the venue. All venues will be situated in Dhaka. Exact location will be announced closer to date.

2. Who Do We Contact For Non-technical Assistance?

For any assistance, please contact the Sparks campus ambassador of your respective campuses. We have a dedicated Facebook group for BizMaestros for each campus.

For international students, you may use the ‘comment’ option on Unilever Careers official Facebook page.

3. What Is The Timeline For Bizmaestros X UFLP?

Starting from November, all rounds will be completed by mid-December.

4. Will There Be Any Training Or Information Session Before The Competition?

Yes. Candidates will be notified regarding case briefing or any other sessions ahead of time. There will be mentoring and learning sessions for the participants throughout the rounds.

5. I Only Want To Apply To UFLP And Not In Bizmaestros. How To Proceed?

This year, the programmes are merged into one single application for both the programmes. Participants interested in any of the programmes should apply during this application phase.
