JOB PURPOSE
The Supply Chain Finance Services OC Manager is the key leader for the development of integrated Supply Chain Finance Services HUB. The SCFS OC Manager will be responsible to lead SCFS Americas operations and partner to Americas Supply Chain Finance organization. The role reports directly to Market Operations Finance Operations Director and is part of ComEx Latam LT. The role works closely with SCFS Global Hub/Global Capabilities team/3PSP partner (Capgemini) and other OCs for global process harmonization initiatives, digital transformation and projects.

The SCFS OC Manager leads a large team and is directly responsible for delivery of Supply Chain Accounting, Reporting and controls services for Americas Supply Chain Finance Organization, Logistics Finance and support SC business model compliance (tax).

Additionally, the role comprises delivering transactional supply chain finance activities through an outsourced service provider (Capgemini).
The role requires an individual with Supply Chain Finance/SCFS background, great stakeholder and relationship management skills, with a proven track record of success in leading change and being the catalyst to implement the required changes. The individual will need to have the ability to build and develop a talented dynamic and diverse team. As well will be responsible for managing the relationship with the Supply Chain Finance Teams and outsourced service provider.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


• Lead the team delivering high quality Supply Chain Finance Services (e.g. SU-Sourcing/Product Costing, Transfer Pricing, SCC Month End close, Reporting, GFCF Controls) for Americas, effective supporting business partners
• Manage relationship with stakeholders towards excellent service delivery
• Understand and actively support business transformation agenda impacting scope of SCFS activities ensuring service continuity and global process alignment
• Manage the team towards delivery of priorities agreed with business with full quality and on time
• Lead projects to drive simplification, harmonization, process excellence, digital agenda, and continuous service/quality improvement
• Guarantee Unilever’s Global Financial Control Framework compliance during process execution; Follow up auditors’ requirements and assure to deliver all information on time.
• Ensure robust SCF processes and systems knowledge across SCFS teams as well as the outsourced provider teams to build subject matter expertise relevant for effective business support.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • ​​Bachelor’s degree in  Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • ​5+ years of experience in finance roles with strong exposure to Record to Report (R2R), Supply Chain Finance, or Finance Services.
  •  Solid accounting knowledge, including P&L, balance sheet, and cost accounting.
  • ​Proven experience leading finance teams and managing stakeholders in a shared services / GBS or multinational environment.
  • ​Strong understanding of costing, cost optimization, and financial controls within supply chain operations. 
  • ​Hands-on experience with SAP (SAP HANA desirable) and advanced Excel skills.
  • ​ Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken), with daily interaction across the Americas and global teams.
