JOB PURPOSE

The Customer Strategy & Planning (CSP) team is heart of business where you can gain insight on category related business decisions. You will secure deployment of the Commercial Strategy in-store

Your scope will include contribution for planning, coordination and evaluation of trade marketing activities and projects (incl. innovation, portfolio, activation, promotion, in-store communication, budgeting) with accountability for the Personal Care and Beauty & Wellbeing category activation plan. You’ll work on worldwide known and beloved brands like Dove, Axe, Rexona or local jewel Baba. In this position you would play a key role in delivering key category execution KPIs, such as distribution, promo and pricing related ones.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead Gift pack activity and support operationally the work of PC/BW CSP managers on project/activity based on the followings:

  • Manage the rolling activity plan and promotional calendar for Personal Care and Beauty & Wellbeing categories across all channels, continuously tracking performance.

  • Ensure execution of activity plans through close collaboration with the Key Account Management team, especially in promotion planning and evaluations.

  • Lead the S&OP process, including short- and mid‑term forecasting, improving forecast accuracy, and managing activities and promotions per customer.

  • Oversee promo planning according to guidelines, monitoring flyer numbers, shares, and promotional price levels.

  • Track execution of in-store activities, including POS materials and competitor activations, and drive insights for growth and profitability.

  • Prepare analytical reports using data sources such as Nielsen and internal scanning databases for promotional and ad-hoc analyses.

  • Evaluate the impact and effectiveness of in‑store marketing investments and recommend actions for improvement.

  • Propose changes to promo guidelines and activity plans based on ROI and market performance, including developing gap‑closing initiatives.

  • Lead implementation and monitoring of launches and re-launches with the Key Account team, including run‑outs and trade presentations.

  • Drive category growth strategy and excellence in in-store execution, including shopper activation, repack/copack processes, and support in achieving key category KPIs.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 1-2 years track record in trade marketing/customer development/marketing 

  • University/College degree in Economics

  • Native Hungarian and Fluent English proficiency

  • Strong and structured verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficiency in multitasking and project management

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint with excellent analytical skills, needed not only to evaluate, but to provide useful, actionable tools that are clear, meaningful, and delivered in a timely manner

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Personal Care Category and Customer knowledge (focusing on dm, Rossmann and Hypers) is an advantage

  • Bias for Action in a constantly changing environment 

  • Innovative, solution-oriented mindset with problem solving and strategic thinking
