Terms & Conditions:Full-time position, hybrid (on-site 3 times per week). No national or international relocation bonus applies.

Fluency in spoken and written English is required for global communication and incident reporting.

JOB PURPOSE:
Support the organization's cybersecurity incident response efforts by providing deep dive analysis of security alerts / incidents. CERT Analysts play a crucial role in identifying and mitigating cyber threats to protect Unilever's digital assets and data. Their responsibilities include analysis of security incidents, investigating incidents, producing root cause analysis and post incident reviews, forensic analysis, and collaborating with the CERT Manager and other cybersecurity professionals to ensure a resilient and secure digital environment for the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review network traffic, logs, and security alerts to identify potential incidents.

  • Perform incident triage and detailed analysis to determine severity, scope, and root cause.

  • Document incidents with clear timelines, findings, and actions taken.

  • Support containment, mitigation, and eradication activities with the CERT team.

  • Conduct forensic analysis using EDR tools and deeper forensics when required.

  • Provide IOCs and relevant artifacts to Threat Intelligence teams.

  • Use and help optimize cybersecurity tools for detection and response.

  • Maintain accurate records and ensure documentation standards are met.

  • Stay current on cyber threats, trends, and best practices.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Key Skills:

  • Strong cybersecurity knowledge (threats, networks, operating systems).

  • Hands‑on experience in incident detection and response.

  • Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem‑solving ability.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

  • Experience with security tools and forensic methodologies.

  • Ability to work under pressure and handle high‑impact incidents.

  • Teamwork, adaptability, and ethical handling of sensitive data.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field.

  • 3–5 years in cybersecurity roles (SOC, CERT, IR, etc.).

  • Practical experience analyzing and responding to real-world incidents.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certifications such as Security+, GCIH, CISSP (nice to have).
