Background and Purpose of the Job

The Associate Demand Planning Excellence Manager is responsible for providing thought-leadership in the characterization of historical demand and the application of appropriate statistical and non-statistical forecasting methods used in supply chain planning to create the operational forecast for both customer and category demand planning. To achieve this thought-leadership, this position must be able to analyze and drive insights from large sets of data out of Datalake, Kinaxis Rapid Response, and other sources using data-mining and visualization tools.

Other process responsibilities include interpreting data and drawing insights from Forecast Bias, Accuracy measures, facilitating the interpretation and selection of the best signal through Forecast Strategy Selection in Rapid Response, supporting the development of the aggregate forecast as part of the S&OP business planning process, facilitating the collaboration between Demand Planners, Supply Planners, the Sales Planning organization and other cross-functional partners.

This position will also be involved in identifying demand planning process and system innovation opportunities in the WBC organization – including the future development of appropriate KPIs. This also supports and deploys WBC Demand Planning technologies while working closely with the WBC Kinaxis product manager and Accenture team from design phase to post go live support. Additionally, the role will develop and deploy training programs targeted for Demand Planners across all the WBC OpCos.

The Demand Planning Excellence associate manager is the subject matter expert in the following areas as they provide training, hands-on operational support to Demand Planners, and serve as the liaison with the WBC technical teams.
• Statistical Forecast Modelling methodologies and application
• Demand forecasting analytics
• Product transition management
• Forecast disaggregation methodologies and application
• Scenario Planning and Optimization

What will you need to succeed?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Logistics, Operations Planning, Supply Chain, Analytics or related fields.
• 3+ years of work experience in supply chain and projects management with a clear competence in SC planning, analytics, and technology.
• Deep understanding of data-mining techniques and statistical Forecasting model generation and interpretation.
• Experience in Microsoft D365, Kinaxis Rapid Response. APICS certification is a plus.
• Experience in developing and implementing Supply Chain Innovation and technology.
• Excellent communication skills and team commitment in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in developing, and leading training programs with a sharp focus on stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple competing projects and priorities in a very dynamic environment.
• Ability to problem solve, and influence stakeholders while embedding new capabilities within Supply Chain Planning.

Pay: The pay range for this position is $88,600 to $133,000. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that areutilizedin making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs. 

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible. 

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
