Job Purpose

As the Associate Manager, Media Operations, you will serve as the day-to-day operational engine of digital media activation. You will act as the connective tissue between strategy and execution—translating investment plans, creative rotations, and optimization signals into high-quality, high-accuracy campaign delivery.

Working in close partnership with the Media Performance and Search Teams, you will support the ongoing optimization of campaigns by providing platform insights, pacing visibility, and timely issue escalation. Your work directly influences the performance of our Beauty & Wellbeing brands (Dove hair and skin care, Vaseline, SheaMoisture, TRESemmé, and Nexxus) ensuring content is deployed effectively, budgets are paced accurately, and campaigns are deployed to deliver strong business result.

You ensure every campaign is set up correctly, paced effectively, and monitored rigorously—creating a foundation that allows our media investment to work harder. You embrace platform complexity, troubleshoot with confidence, and bring operational discipline that elevates the entire media ecosystem.
• Media and Creative Connectivity – You bring teams together by serving as the connective force between strategy and execution. You work hand-in-hand with Content, Creative Adaptation, Media Planning, and Agency partners to make sure assets, audiences, and activation timelines are fully aligned. You thrive on orchestrating the details and ensuring campaigns go live seamlessly.
• Collaboration - You confidently manage agency partners and cross-functional workflows, setting clear expectations and insisting on accuracy and accountability. You communicate proactively, anticipate issues, and keep teams aligned through fast-moving campaign cycles. You are a stabilizing force in a high-energy environment—ensuring the right work gets done, at the right time, with the right attention to detail.

Required Qualifications


• Bachelor's degree (preference in marketing or similar)

4+ years of experience in media strategy, brand marketing, or performance/growth marketing, with a proven track record of managing substantial media budgets
• Deep expertise in full-funnel media planning (Paid Social, Programmatic Display, TV, OLV, CTV, Search, Audio, OOH, etc.)
• Strong understanding of MMM, MTA, incrementality testing, and how to connect insights to investment decisions
• Experience working with multiple media, analytics and measurement (MMM and MTA) tools
• Exceptional storytelling and communication skills; ability to influence executives and cross-functional partners
• Exceptional proficiency with Microsoft Excel, ability to work with and analyze large data sets quickly, accurately, and efficiently
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with a solid understanding of key marketing metrics


Preferred Qualifications


• Understanding of the evolving retail media landscape, especially within key retailers such as Amazon, Walmart, and Target
• Hands-on experience in Biddable Environments such as Paid Social, Programmatic Display, and Search

Pay: The pay range for this position is $86,000 to $129,000. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that areutilizedin making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs. 

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
