Job Purpose

The Jonesboro factory is a fast‑paced, highly collaborative environment producing leading Beauty & Wellbeing brands like Nexxus, TRESemmé, Dove, Axe, and Vaseline. We develop leaders who thrive in cross‑functional roles and drive continuous improvement every day.

As the Manufacturing Manager of Processing & Logistics, you’ll oversee end‑to‑end processing and logistics for the Jonesboro site and report directly to the Head of Factory. Your focus is to ensure safe, high‑quality, efficient operations while championing continuous improvement and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations across processing and logistics, including safety, quality, cost, output, inventory, transportation, and resource allocation
  • Build and develop a high‑performing team with diverse skill sets.
  • Own departmental budgets and labor planning
  • Ensure compliance with Unilever’s safety systems and regulatory requirements (LOTO, risk assessments, environmental standards)
  • Track and improve key performance metrics such as cycle time, labor productivity, tank utilization, and inventory accuracy
  • Reduce waste and environmental impact through eco‑efficient processes and responsible handling of materials
  • Drive continuous improvement using Unilever Manufacturing System (UMS) tools and coach teams on problem‑solving methodologies
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally to deliver site‑wide initiatives and manage projects to performance, cost, and timing goals

You are also expected to be:

A Leader: You inspire teams and guide the factory in implementing improvement programs across FI pillars.

A Strategist: You diagnose losses, build action plans, and partner with Safety, Quality, and Supply Chain leaders.

A Connector: You link KPIs, long‑term goals, and employee engagement to deliver sustainable results.

A Teacher: You coach teams on UMS (Continuous Improvement) concepts and build problem‑solving capability.

A Change Champion: You help shape a culture where employees lead improvement and drive world‑class performance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain (Manufacturing, EHS, Technology, Quality).
  • 3+ years leading large manufacturing operations within the CPG/FMCG industry.
  • Demonstrated success leading diverse teams and fostering inclusion.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills.
  • Ability to apply structured problem‑solving methodologies (UMS or similar).
  • Ability to move quickly across work areas, including stairs and carrying loads.

Pay: The pay range for this position is $103,000 to $154,400, Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.  

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.  

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
