JOB PURPOSE

This role exists to turn consumer insight into brand growth by championing the voice of the local consumer, shaping winning brand strategies, and delivering impactful consumer experiences and innovation initiatives that strengthen brand power in the market. The successful candidate will work across functions and markets to ensure local relevance while contributing to long-term business objectives, portfolio development, and category growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Co-create and execute brand strategies through the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, ensuring local consumer insights are effectively translated into communication and portfolio priorities.

  • Lead consumer and market research initiatives to identify growth opportunities, strengthen brand relevance, and support category development.

  • Manage and deliver cross-functional and cross-country projects, ensuring alignment of stakeholders and successful execution.

  • Develop and deploy compelling brand campaigns in partnership with designated marketing and communication teams, driving consumer engagement and brand equity.

  • Contribute to the development and evolution of brand identity, including visual identity, tone of voice, creative assets, and brand guidelines.

  • Lead innovation concept development and support the creation of new products that address local consumer and shopper needs.

  • Drive communication concept development, ensuring strong alignment with the overall brand strategy and business objectives.

  • Build deep consumer and category understanding through analysis of market, customer, and competitive data, translating findings into actionable recommendations.

  • Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and product launches, responding proactively to opportunities and challenges.

  • Manage the local brand portfolio and contribute insights to innovation business cases and portfolio roadmap development.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, preferably within FMCG or a consumer-focused environment.

  • Proven experience leading innovation projects, campaign execution, communication adaptation, and packaging design implementation.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive results proactively.

  • Solid commercial acumen with the ability to understand P&L performance and manage marketing budgets effectively.

  • Excellent agency management and briefing skills, including experience collaborating with creative, research, and media agencies and evaluating creative assets.​​

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working in regional or international marketing environments with cross-market collaboration.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience leveragingconsumer, shopper, and market insights to support strategic decision-making.

  • Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships across cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
