On one hand, we are completely responsible for building all of Unilever’s brands in white space geographies like Korea, Pacific Islands, Mongolia and on the other we are now leading the launches of big brands like Lifebuoy, Sunlight, Fair & Lovely, Tresemme among others into big markets like the US, China, Western Europe and SEAA.

As Unilever’s growth engine, we are thirdly responsible for creating a global white space business in alternate channels like Duty Free (66bn$ globally), E Commerce Seeding in China and India, marketing to Institutional partners like the United Nations and seeding Unilever brands to overseas diaspora who miss their home brands.

Singapore is UI’s global hub which leads strategy, marketing thinking, seeding plans, and alignment with the global categories and supply chain. Main Job Purpose:

Marketing Category Assistant Manager of Beauty & Wellbeing will play a key strategic role in supporting the Category Leader of Beauty & Wellbeing in leading growth of Skin Body & Face Care and Hair Care category business which is one of the core business division in Unilever Korea. This role leads brand building of core Unilever brands in Beauty & Wellbeing category majorly targeting Vaseline. Furthermore, this position acts as a key hub responsible for providing local insights and trends supporting the global brand and category teams stationed across multiple regions.

What Will Your Main Responsibilities Be:

  • Lead responsibility for Skin Care brands aligned with global category and brand strategies.
  • Lead Integrated Business Planning (IBP) for Beauty & Wellbeing identifying category issues and opportunities
  • Develop brand marketing plans and future roadmap to deliver sustainable category growth
  • Manage Beauty & Wellbeing category and brand P&L
  • Act as the category guardian for Korea, managing brands adhering to global standards
  • Develop and execute integrated brand communication plan.
  • Review effectiveness / outcomes of campaigns, monitor performance, and take actions necessary for improvement
  • Initiate new product development through consistently exploring white space and consumer insights from market.
  • Lead NPD briefing and collaborate with Innovation team to deliver new product on time

Experiences & Qualifications
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Minimum 7 years of brand marketing experience in FMCG
  • Brand management experience required
  • Fluent in Korean and English
  • Experience in Multinational company is preferred
