This job will be based within the Laundry category - Research & Development Argentina, with focus on Technical Development, Project Management & Deploy activities in delivering Innovation, 5S and Clean Future activities and business Support projects.

Main job purpose:

  • The candidate will help to deliver Laundry project funnel, on-time in full - as well as support and lead business continuity, cost savings and clean future activities/projects.
  • The role requires the ability to organize and execute 5 or more different projects in parallel and at a fast pace, while still managing everyday tasks and duties to support the R&D department.
  • Represents R&D function in Cross-functional team in Project meetings.

Key Accountabilities:

The duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Technically leading the implementation of Laundry innovation projects in Argentina (TPL role).
  • Develop and implement formulations in innovation, 5S and clean future projects.
  • Understanding the consumer habits & needs as required by the Project team while articulating the needs of business.
  • Working with cross-functional team members to execute projects.
  • To validate technically raw materials, pack material and/or alternative suppliers.
  • Perform technical/operational and project coordination tasks for the implementation of innovation/5s.
  • Sample preparation/test prototypes.
  • Monitoring and evaluation of technical tests (for example, stability, performance, etc).
  • Physical-chemical evaluation of the products.
  • Management of product specifications and labelling-Generation and load of formulations in SAP PLM.
  • Preparation of documentation for records.
  • Responsible for the approval of claims, AW, advertising clearance, competitor challenge in local language from technical and regulation compliance point of view.
  • Local deploy activities, supporting sales meetings, activation materials, ideas generation for communication and projects.

Required Qualifications:

Academic Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering/Chemistry/FOOD technology
  • Fluent English (oral and written)

Skills and Competencies:

  • Sense of responsibility/ accountability.
  • Flexibility to work in different environments, with different business needs.
  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work with cross functional teams
  • Proactivity to resolve conflicts.
  • Creativity for project management
  • Agility & Passion for High Performance.
  • Ability to translate project / supply chain requirements into key deliverables.
  • Formulation development experience is key to this role (is preferred), but you must be willing to learn and take on responsibilities.
