Job Title: NALI MDM Specialist

Location: Unilever House, Cairo

JOB PURPOSE

The NALI Master Data Management (MDM) Specialist is responsible for maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and governance of critical master data across the NALI region, ensuring that key business processes can operate efficiently and without disruption. The role serves as a central point for creating, managing, and maintaining master data related to materials, products, customers, vendors, and employee records within SAP ECC and associated systems.

The role plays a critical business-support function by ensuring that all required master data is configured correctly to enable end-to-end operations, from product innovation and launch through manufacturing, supply planning, customer sales, and employee payroll processing. Incorrect or delayed master data can directly impact production, payroll, customer transactions, and business continuity, making the position highly operationally critical.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Pega Based Tools

Supervise code creations and perform hands on tasks in code creation cycle like Barcode assignment on Basic approval on MCC
Supervise customer creations/extensions and perform hands on tasks like basic approval on CRETA
Provide support and knowledge transfers for stakeholders operating MDM tools such as MCC & CRETA

SAP ECC

Perform any requested material updates (regional data level) directly to SAP ECC
Create records for stakeholders such as PIRs or Sales BOMs
Create vendor codes for Unilever employees
Support stakeholders in SAP ECC error investigation for SAP ECC errors (when relevant to MDM)
Provide SAP ECC reports (Material Status, Units of Measures, Sales Prices, ...) upon request or based on business requirement

Data Quality and Data Governance

Ensure data quality for material master and customer master (keeping a +99% DQ score)
Ensure SLA is followed for all requests submitted to MDM (task responsibility for all relevant approvals and alignments)
Perform data cleanup exercises
Provide audit samples for external audits or Global MDM upon request

ALL ABOUT YOU

Suitable years of experience in SAP ECC Master Data (MM specifically)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
High analytical and communication skills
High problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to utilize SAP communities in error investigations
Ability to adapt and learn new technologies and tools
