THE CONTEXT:


Are you fluent in data and energized by turning numbers into meaningful business stories? Do you naturally connect performance metrics to growth opportunities and know how to translate insights into action?
In this role, you will partner closely with the Beauty & Wellbeing (B&W) marketing and customer teams — across the categories of Haircare and Skincare — to unlock competitive growth. You will analyze category and brand performance, identify opportunities and risks, and clearly articulate what the data means for the business.
This role plays a critical part in solving business issues and fueling category growth, delivering insights that inform strategy, innovation, and in-market execution. You will synthesize complex data into clear narratives and influence stakeholders through impactful, insight-led recommendations.
Key deliverables include state of the category reviews, channel and competitor deep dives, innovation analyses, category trend POVs, and brand growth forecasting, ensuring insights are forward-looking and decision-oriented.

WHO YOU ARE:


• Highly fluent in data, with the ability to turn complex analyses into clear, compelling business stories
• Comfortable with ambiguity, able to identify the core business question and cut through complexity
• Effective in fast-paced environments, with strong prioritization and stakeholder management skills
• Future-focused, integrating multiple data sources to anticipate trends and guide the business forward
• A collaborative project leader, capable of orchestrating agency partners to deliver outsized impact
• Brings strong business acumen, with an understanding of the Beauty & Wellbeing landscape and a growth mindset
• Experienced in using predictive and advanced analytics to inform key decisions across consumer touchpoints
• Able to assess channel dynamics and uncover new opportunities for growth through data

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:


• Undergraduate degree required; advanced degree in Marketing, Marketing Research, Analytics, Economics, or Business a plus
• 3+ years of relevant experience in marketing, consumer insights, or analytics, with a strong performance track record
• Critical experience working with Point-of-Sale metrics, including syndicated store scanning and panel data
• Familiarity with advanced analytics such as pricing elasticity, growth decomposition, and Net Revenue Management
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Demonstrated structured problem-solving and logical thinking
• Ability to deliver clear, compelling presentations through reports, tools, and storytelling
• Advanced Excel proficiency and comfort learning new analytical tools
• Ability to work 3 days per week from Unilever’s Hoboken, NJ office

Pay: The pay range for this position is $88,600 to $133,000. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that areutilizedin making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs. 

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible. 

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
