JOB PURPOSE

This role exists to drive commercial and sales finance excellence in Poland by enabling data-driven decision-making, strengthening financial governance, optimizing trade marketing investments, and supporting sustainable business growth. As a key business partner to Customer Development, Marketing, and Customer Strategy Planning teams, this position plays a critical role in forecasting, profitability analysis, budget management, and ensuring robust financial controls across commercial operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure accurate and compliant rebate accrual management, including creation, maintenance, revisions, and governance of contractual rebates and consumer price promotions.

  • Monitor and control Trade Marketing Investment (TMI) and marketing budgets, providing insights and recommendations to support business objectives.

  • Deliver and maintain critical financial reporting, including customer profitability analysis, promotional spending, and performance tracking.

  • Partner with Customer Development, Marketing, and Customer Strategy Planning teams to provide financial analysis and support commercial decision-making.

  • Support customer negotiations through financial modelling, profitability assessments, and scenario analysis.

  • Lead and strengthen OTC controls across channels, ensuring compliance with internal policies and financial governance requirements.

  • Coordinate audit activities related to rebate accruals and TMI controls, working closely with internal and external auditors.

  • Collaborate with shared service teams and external service providers to ensure effective pricing execution and operational excellence.

  • Support forecasting, month-end processes, financial planning activities, and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes.

  • Identify opportunities for process simplification, continuous improvement, and enhanced financial performance through data-driven insights.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Professional finance qualification and a minimum of 4 years of experience in finance, commercial finance, business partnering, or operational finance roles.

  • Strong understanding of FMCG financials, including P&L management, forecasting cycles, month-end close activities, and financial performance analysis.

  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with large datasets, reporting tools, and financial systems.

  • Fluent English and Polish communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence stakeholders across different functions.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience managing trade marketing investments, rebate accruals, pricing processes, and commercial finance controls.

  • Knowledge of Power BI and business performance management tools, with experience in data visualization and reporting.

  • Proven track record of driving process improvements, challenging existing ways of working, and supporting organizational change initiatives.
