JOB PURPOSE

This role exists to masterfully handle complexity and navigate strategic trade‑offs in support of the Country Business Unit team. As an expert in demand planning and S&OP, this role translates insights into actionable business intelligence and ensures that all cross‑functional inputs are integrated into a cohesive, well‑aligned business forecast. Acting as a citizen data scientist, the role leverages and interprets data to produce a central forecast that is unbiased, accurate, and aligned at the Business Unit level. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Forecast Accuracy & Bias: Ensure accuracy and monitor bias in all forecasts.
  • Forecast Composition: Fully understand and clearly explain the forecast structure (volume) and related risks & opportunities to peers within the country BU.
  • Demand-Supply Reconciliation: Own the reconciliation process as part of the S&OP cycle.
  • Business Warehouse (BW) Accountability: Manage BW activities during S&OP.
  • Business Insights & Demand Drivers: Gather market and business insights, translating them into demand drivers for automated forecast modeling (L2) to improve forecast quality.
  • Market Expertise: Support BU country discussions with deep market understanding.
  • Volume Forecast Alignment: Ensure updated and agreed volume forecasts are submitted and aligned with financial projections.
  • Forecast Quality Improvement: Drive continuous improvement through regular performance reviews with CDP and enhance demand drivers’ quality (e.g., promotions).
  • Innovation Planning: Own the innovation planning process—from input gathering and timeline coordination to validation of CDP detailed forecast inputs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, CD, and Finance to deliver input-led forecasts, covering non-forecastable segments, innovations, and local brand-building across all horizons.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong experience in demand planning and the S&OP process
  • Advanced data analysis and forecasting skills
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally, ability to run operations with multi-country teams, in a multi-cultural environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Package (Excel, Word), experience in using Power BI
  • Proficiency in English
