Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute General Trade Channel Trade Plans in line with Total Trade Category Plans and Brand Marketing Plans to deliver sales, market share, and distribution objectives.
  • Translate customer and shopper insights into actionable trade initiatives tailored to GT channels.
  • Support the planning and execution of trade promotions, POSM, and in-store activation programs across General Trade outlets.
  • Coordinate new product trade launches, ensuring market readiness in terms of availability, pricing, and visibility.
  • Consolidate and analyze inputs from Field Sales and CMI to support demand planning and trade decision-making.
  • Prepare and provide inputs for monthly and quarterly S&OP cycles, contributing to improved forecast accuracy.
  • Track and analyze trade investment and promotional effectiveness; support pack and SKU mix analysis to optimize revenue and profitability.
  • Manage monthly and quarterly trade budgets, including planning, tracking, and variance explanation.
  • Monitor and evaluate 6Ps execution (Product, Price, Place, Promotion, People, Performance) across General Trade channels.
  • Review sell-in/sell-out, and market share reports to identify gaps and recommend corrective or acceleration actions.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Brand Marketing, Supply Chain, and external partners to ensure consistent and effective execution.

Candidate Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Finance, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Trade Marketing (GT) roles within the FMCG industry.
  • Solid understanding of General Trade channel structure, outlet dynamics, and distributor operations.
  • Basic knowledge of Shopper Marketing, Category Management (CATMAN), and S&OP processes.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP / basic formulas).
  • Ability to work with large datasets and translate analysis into clear actions.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills; able to handle business discussions independently.
  • Detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Agile and adaptable to changing business priorities.
