Job Position: Manager - HR Generalis (Supply Chain)

Function: Human Resources

Reports to: Senior Manager – HR Generalist

Scope: Local

Location: Mandalay, Myanmar (Factory)

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Integrates HR with Business Strategy
  • Considers the broader business context, by linking clear connections between HR activities to their impact across functions and teams.
  • Contributes to the development and delivery of HR strategies aligned with the operational priorities of factory and Supply Chain teams.
  • Maintain consistency between Unilever’s Myanmar HR strategies and and functional priorities across departments. Lead Talent Conversation and the Processes Guides managers on performance tools and processes to drive individual and team growth.
  • Facilitates talent reviews and succession planning to build robust key talents pipelines.
  • Educates and supports managers in making objective, fair, and data-driven talent decisions. Champions Organizational Effectiveness & Transformation
  • Supports managers and HR team in Organisational design, analytics, and effectiveness & initiatives.
  • Contributes to structure reviews and workforce planning ensure operational agility and efficiency.
  • Partners with Supply Chain leadership to lead change management and transformation efforts.
  • Promotes a culture of continuous feedback and performance improvement across partnering function (s).
  • Ensures fair, transparent, and motivating reward practices aligned with business goals.
  • Works with the Reward team to address site-specific compensation, fair living wage and benefits matters.
  • Oversees supply chain HR budgets, focusing on absence cost control and reduction initiatives.
  • Acts as the primary HR liaison for supply chain and factory leadership teams.
  • Coordinate with the Global Health & Wellbeing Lead to drive the Wellbeing agenda, and proactively initiate, plan, and lead Wellbeing initiatives and activities across the organization Data-Driven Reporting
  • Coaches managers to make fair, objective, and analytics-informed decisions on talent management. Analyze HR data, produces clear, concise reports that guide leadership decisions and drive accountability. Lead ER/IR and Ensures Policy & Legal Compliance
  • Ensure consistent understanding and application of employee and industrial relations policies across all levels.
  • Works closely with HR team, WCC and leadership teams to proactively address issues and minimize risk exposure.
  • Upholds adherence to Unilever HR policies and local labor law, ensuring ethical and legal integrity.
  • Facilitates audits and compliance checks at factory sites.
  • Manages SC budgets, including absence cost control and reduction initiatives.
  • Acts as the primary HR contact for SC & factory leadership teams.
  • Partners with Factory Leadership Teams to embed HR into operational excellence programs.
