Job Title: Workplace Lead - Thailand, Cambodia, and Laos (TCL)

Work Location: Unilever Thailand HQ

Scope: Thailand, Cambodia, Laos (TCL)

Role Purpose:

This role is responsible for leading Workplace projects and day-to-day delivery of Workplace services across multiple sites in Thailand, Cambodia, and Laos. The Workplace Lead will ensure the efficient and effective management of workplace operations, creating a productive and positive work environment while aligning with the overall Workplace Experience and Operations strategy. This role requires a proactive individual with strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, capable of managing diverse responsibilities and stakeholders.  

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Service Delivery Management: Accountable for the day-to-day delivery of Workplace services in line with established service levels (SLAs) and KPIs, whether provided by third-party vendors or in-house teams.  
  • Facilities Management: Manage and coordinate Facilities Management (FM) services, including both soft services (cleaning, security, etc.) and technical services (excluding technical services within Supply Chain production areas).  
  • Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships and contracts with service providers, ensuring service level agreements are met. Build and maintain positive working relationships with service providers, internal stakeholders (HR, IT, Finance, SHE, etc.), and external stakeholders.  
  • Operational Efficiency: Identify and drive savings opportunities and implement continuous improvement projects to enhance service delivery and cost-effectiveness.  
  • Budget Management: Monitor budget spending (forecast vs. actual) and ensure adherence to approved budgets.  
  • Compliance and Safety: Develop and implement workplace policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies. Monitor and manage workplace safety and security.  
  • Project Management: Manage office renovation and site facility management projects, including refurbishments, dilapidations, and office moves.  
  • Communication and Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate performance reporting. Act as a point of contact for workplace-related issues, resolving them promptly and efficiently.  
  • Other Workplace Services: Include activities across other Workplace Services areas such as Real Estate, Travel Services, and Agile Working.  

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, facilities management, business administration) or equivalent practical experience.  
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in workplace services, with a focus on corporate services, integrated facilities management, or equivalent.  
  • Experience managing a team, third party service providers and working in a multinational organization.  
  • Strong knowledge of workplace best practices, contracting methods, SLAs, KPIs, and workplace policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), leadership, and interpersonal skills.   Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Demonstrated project management and change management skills.  
  • Service delivery mindset and service excellence mindset.  
  • Organizational awareness and problem-solving skills.  
  • Ability to work independently and remotely.  
  • Ability to travel 50% to assigned geography
