Job Purpose
Unilever Australia & New Zealand (ANZ) is a business worth in excess of 1bn AUD Turnover annually and which manufactures and sells well known household brands such as Omo, Dove and Continental Foods.
The Supply Chain Finance Business Partner is a key member of the Supply Chain Finance team and is responsible for performance managing end to end Logistics and Business Waste spend. Best possible transport organized into factories, warehouses and customer locations.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics Finance Partnering
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of Logistics accounting and reporting in the P&L, including journal postings, month-end tasks, accruals, and actual vs forecast analysis.
- Provide visibility, insights and commentary on Logistics spend performance of the logistics spend and forecast to the Head of Supply Chain Finance and the wider business.
- Drive Value Improvement Projects (VIP) by providing insights to the logistics team and tracking delivery of savings projects in the P&L.
- Performance manage the Logistics Team to ensure key Logistics KPIs are delivered.
Business Waste Finance Partnering
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of Business Waste accounting and reporting in the P&L, including journal postings, month-end tasks, provisions, and actual vs forecast analysis.
- Oversee the end-to-end business waste process to prevent, manage, and eliminate at-risk inventory, with a key focus on slow-moving and obsolete goods.
- Drive continuous improvement in the business waste process, including optimizing, automating, and simplifying key processes.
- Performance manage the Planning Team to ensure key Business Waste KPIs are delivered.
Additional Responsibilities
- Drive simplification and efficiencies in all Supply Chain and SC Finance processes, leveraging technology to automate key tasks.
- Support SC Finance team during month-end and forecast process, resolve ad hoc issues, and collaborate to achieve SC Finance team goals.
- Work with the Supply Chain team and extended 3rd party , and hold them accountable against their deliverables in respective areas.

- ANZ Head of Supply Chain, ANZ Logistics team and ANZ Planning team
- ANZ Head of Finance and ANZ Head of Supply Chain Finance
- Extended Finance team incl Commercial, FP&A and Controllers team
Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of relevant Finance experience including Supply Chain Finance experience
- Strong skill in SAP and Microsoft Office tools
- Good understanding of Unilever Accounting rules and P&L
Key Skills
- Strong analytical skills with understanding of the Unilever P&L
- Ability to build relationships quickly, and gain the trust of others
- Excellent communication skill, both verbal and presenting data visually
- Ability to drive action in a fast-moving environment and courage to challenge the status quo
