Location: General Trias, Cavite - Gateway Manufacturing

Foods business in Greater Asia (GA) is a proud, successful, and fast-growing business. GA’s biggest market is Philippines. Our remarkable brands include Knorr & Lady’s Choice. Our core product categories include cooking aids (cubes, KLS, soups) and condiments-dressings (mayonnaise and meaty spreads).

R&D is the business core- engine to drive innovations ensuring product designs are winning in the market. It also fuels existing business to growth in ensuring all Brand-led growth and efficiency projects are delivered on-time and in-full. R&D Function works strongly with other cross functional teams’ locale and globally to deliver growth action plan for the GA.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

This role will focus on PH Cooking Aids and GA Condiments (Dressings). It is expected that this role will ensure full compliance on food regulation and safety in countries where it will be launched.

• Lead / co-lead packaging innovation & NRM projects as technical project leader according to agreed R&R

• Lead / co-lead packaging fuel for growth projects working with the central F4G team
• Lead packaging support for PBP (Packaging Bundling Projects)
• Lead packaging support for SC & 3P/CM Initiatives
• Support Artwork Approval via BLUE for the packaging mandatories in all projects
• Support Lift and shift Projects for packaging assessments working together with the TPL
• Support Quality and Consumer complaint management (Lead with SC)
• Support Systems Operational Requests in updating PLM and ensuring specifications are according to global set standards
• Support Lab and Pilot Plant Capability Programs including input to asset management ​

• Foods Philippines Marketing & CSP team
• Philippines Supply Chain team (including planning and quality team)
• Philippines Procurement team
• Foods Regulatory & Legal team

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Food Science, Packaging Technology, Engineering
• A minimum of 5 yrs experience in an FMCG company as packaging role.
• Passion of driving consumer centric and technology into product design
• Growth mindset leadership
• Energized working in teams
• Highly skilled in Microsoft, experience in PLM/ SAP preferred
