Location: Gateway Factory, Chachengsoa

The Finance Business Partner at Gateway factory is a crucial role responsible for delivering financial insights and guidance to support operational decision-making. This position requires close collaboration with the Nutrition Business Unit and Gateway Supply Chain team to optimize costs, drive financial performance, and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting. As a key Finance leader within the Gateway Factory, the Finance Business Partner will report directly to the Thailand Supply Chain Finance Lead.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with factory leadership and Nutrition BU to drive SCC cost efficiency by setting targets, managing and driving cost improvement through transparency and insightful analytics.
  • Lead Factory Production Cost Performance, including factory cost budgeting, monthly forecast updates, actual/variance analysis. Conduct weekly cost reviews at the factory and monthly reviews with the BU, highlighting key risks and opportunities.
  • Calculate payback and provide options to maximize financial outcomes on business cases. Review post- launch analysis to ensure savings delivery is maximized.
  • Drive production saving programs with Manex and SC team in weekly cost governance (WCG), ensuring the accuracy of savings calculations.  Coordinate closely with project teams to maximize savings delivery.
  • Manage capital forecast/actuals and asset write-offs per company guidelines.
  • Calculate indicative TP for new NPDs for R&D and Marketing.
  • Ensure factory controls are in place according to Unilever design and external audit requirements.
  • Manage 1 finance staff member at the Factory.
  • Co-ordinate with BU finance teams and support ad-hoc financial analysis as required.
  • Coordinate with SCF to review material waste and provide input to the material team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s Degree in related field (e.g. Business/Finance/Economics/Accounting/etc.).
  • Relevant experiences preferred (e.g. FMCG/Finance Partnering/Industrial/Auditing/etc.)
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, data analytic, spreadsheet modeling skills.
  • Responsible, Accountable, Cautious in ensuring financial accuracy.
  • A good team player with agility, positivity, and a willingness to go the extra mile. 
  • Possess good communication and presentation skills in both Thai and English.
