WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
This role leads Business Unit (BU) x UniOps digital strategy and plans across technology product domains, programmes and teams in the BU. This role is further accountable for driving cost transparency across UniOps portfolio, leveraging opportunities across product domain, and supporting the cost optimization within UniOps. This role is key to ensure that UniOps is aligned to Business Group/Business Unit (BG/BU) objectives, matching to BU needs to UniOps capability and leading for business outcome delivery and adoption.
- Develop Strategic Portfolio Roadmap by understanding and translating BG strategy into a BU constrained environment and provide comprehensive view of the opportunities / impact to the BU leadership teams. Identify key capabilities and programmes which will realise impact to the BU and present a view of the UniOps Portfolio by BG to the BU CDIO and BU LT, with cost visibility, benefits realization & deployment timelines.
- Builds and maintains view of the UniOps Digital Portfolio by BU with deployment timelines. Partnering with Global Product and Foundation teams to manage delivery of the programs
- Maintain portfolio performance, vision and strategy: Formulate clear vision and strategy with the BU teams to drive the Performance metrics of the Digital capabilities against the BG/BU Priorities and goals. Support BU CDIO, BG Chief of Staff, Strategy & Portfolio Leads & Domain Portfolio Lead in determining which BG/BU demands to prioritize the requirements
- Performs risk assessment and management: Identify and escalate risks related to digital initiatives to relevant business stakeholders. Track outcomes from now, Next and Beyond plan with BU Leadership teams
- Driving strong joined up Governance between BG and Products: Support in defining KPIs for BG digital transformation projects – align targets with BU Leadership against these key goals. Track adoption & people dependent ROI of products deployed within the BG. Ensure necessary prioritization decisions are provided on backlog
- Continuous Alignment and Improvements: Advocate for User-centric design. Facilitate UAT and drive superior experience to deliver value realization
- Product Adoption and Embedment: Ensure UniOps technology products are adopted and embraced by end users within the BG/BU. Monitor and track adoption metrics for digital solutions across the BG/BU
- Change Coordination & Training - Oversees BG/BU overall training strategies. Gather feedback from end-users, super users and change champions continuously iterate approach to optimize training effectiveness and adoption
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
Skills
- Portfolio Management experience in large, complex organizations, proven track record of bringing together different digital programs, workstreams, progress, outcomes, and barriers into a single managed roadmap for senior leadership (WL3s/WL4s)
- Demonstrated capability to network across different functions, digital program teams, product teams, business teams, stakeholders, and sponsors – to keep complex and large-scale programs organized and disciplined in performance management and execution
- Technical Acumen – familiarity with digital technologies and technology trends, having recent certifications in relevant fields such as AI, Analytics, data engineering, platforms, scrum, or other relevant technical fields is a plus
- Strong leadership, influencing and stakeholder management skills; must be able to engage with WL3s/WL4s in the commercial teams and in UniOps
- Strategic Thinking, demonstrates ability to anticipate issues before they materialize with digital transformation programs and projects, can guide and lead leaders’ thinking on N+1 priorities
- Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills, demonstrates ability to write concise 1 page business updates, build impactful status update materials, can build team culture across functions and UniOps (we are one team); is excellent at establishing high trust relationships with senior leaders (WL4s/WL5s) due to credible delivery and execution
- Change Management experience, can devise comprehensive change management plans that leverages the roles of sponsors, business SMEs, product teams, and HR to ensure the digital transformations “stick” in the processes and/or the organizations they are designed and delivered for
- Proven track record of developing and sustaining high performing talent pipelines
- Proven track record of building healthy organizations (employee engagement, confidence in leadership, and other key KPIs)

- BUSINESS ACUMEN
Pay: The pay range for this position is $84,400 to $126,600. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
