Accountability
- Own key business deliverables in terms of: Quality, Service, Cost Savings, cash, and be responsible for sourcing working closely with the business operations & portfolio procurement.
- Be directly responsible for all key projects and innovation interfacing with business group.
- Coordinate direct activities between the global portfolio procurement teams and the market procurement team to identify opportunities to drive cost savings.
- Work closely with all procurement managers to shape and ensure all KPIs well delivered.
- To shape the strategy with all internal and external stakeholder in driving business team together with portfolio to improve partnership, competitive buying and sustainable sourcing while increase agility in services to business.
- Build talent pool for not only procurement but also for supply chain competency.
- Shape up digital embedded in operation to increase efficiency and smart working output.
Responsibility
Drive, Create, Own and Deliver:
- Drive consistency in sourcing process execution and quality of outputs / service level to business stakeholders
- Maintain strong understanding of spend dynamics (current market, pricing, cost drivers, industry and supplier variables); communicate and share knowledge with Category and Sourcing Managers
- Build and foster strong business relationships at mid to executive-level to increase influence over total PI & IP spend
- Drive and deliver continuous process improvement and cost reduction
- Encourage and empower team members of the use of technology (e.g., Data, Analytics, Automation, Digitization) across the function.
- Own and achieve value creation and supplier targets established for the function.
- Create and implement a highly engaged, effective Procurement organization working across the globe.
Oversee, Collaborate, Understand and Review:
- Oversee Strategic Sourcing resources responsible for a wide portfolio of complex and/or critical Direct/Indirect innovation project.
- Monitor and report on progress towards achieving functional goals/target metrics; proactively address performance gaps or issues potentially impacting success as needed
- Oversee management of executive-level business stakeholder relationships on an ongoing basis to ensure customer satisfaction across all categories
- Oversee critical, executive-level Supplier Relationships and support Supplier Business Reviews for material and supply chain services partners.
- Oversee and advise on value generating projects based on complexity, resources, risk, time to implement, and estimated financial impact for Direct & Indirect categories
- Oversee strategic sourcing projects for supplier selection/optimization to execute global procurement vision / strategy
- Coordinate, Supervise and Lead:
- Coordinate with Market Leadership team on execution of contracts, management of supplier performance and risk and spend data
- Supervise and coach team members to drive continuous improvement of performance and further growth/development of individual skill sets and knowledge
- Lead discussions with critical suppliers around long-term objectives and strategies, ongoing market trends, innovation and technology advances, and potential investment decisions.
Key skills:
- Sourcing Direct &/or Indirect Spend, OR Procurement Leadership.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office; Experience in spreadsheet, database, and statistical analysis; analytical and interpretive skills to recognize, comprehend and assess data, complex issues, and industry information. Demonstrated experience in pushing the edge in the use of technology to improve results.
- Strong ability to present complex topics in an effective and concise manner to broad-based audiences including various levels of management, customer service, problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong negotiation skills and demonstrated conflict resolution skills; ability to identify, assess and mitigate risk. change management skills promote a shared vision and inspires others to embrace new opportunities; and understanding of procurement governance, processes, and policies.
- Effective and proven strategic planning ability. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously; senior leadership experience with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with the team and all levels and areas of the organization.
- Familiarity with business and contract law as applied to supplier relationships.
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills are required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required

Requirements:
- University degree
- At least 7 years experience in Procurement or SC
- Experience on large-scale change management projects
- Previous experience in procurement / planning / R&D roles would be an advantage
