So yes, there are big ambitions to keep the momentum going on the iconic Dove Beauty Bar, and we are seeking a talented Global Associate Brand Manager to help turbo-charge our momentum even more by delivering world-class global innovations and communication plans for the U.S. market.

JOB PURPOSE

As the Associate Brand Manager, you will be working alongside the Associate Director, leading the Dove Core Bar platform of the brand, delivering strong mixes and communication plans to drive the brand’s growth. This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to have a very meaningful part in defining the long-term strategy of Core +, co-lead an innovation launch, craft unmissable campaigns on a purposeful brand, and independently partner with the U.S. market. This is a challenging and demanding role with high-visibility role for someone looking to become a brand manager in the near future.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

  • Support the team on developing the North America Dove Bar platform.
  • Co-lead the development of the Dove Bar roadmap and future innovations.
  • Independently lead project networks to deliver mixes on-time-in-full by partnering closely with cross functional teams.
  • Partner with U.S. as the lead market to ensure Dove Core Bar growth trajectory 
  • Lead communication development process for Dove Core Bar campaigns end-to-end, collaborating closely with our agency partners 
  • Develop a deep understanding of the skin cleansing and bar category and the female consumer in the U.S., uncovering consumer insights that will unlock penetration for the brand and allow us to win competitively  
  • Manage project budgets, inclusive of raising POs, monthly forecasting and additional funding requests (as needed).
  • Support development of material for customer and stakeholder sell-in (including key visuals, product samples, sizzle videos, investor board documents).

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
  • At least 4 years relevant work experience in marketing. Previous brand development experience preferred.  
  • Independent and proactive, with strong leadership and interpersonal skills 
  • Strong bias for action while maintaining a positive approach on getting things done 
  • Deep passion for understanding the category, consumers, and shoppers 
  • Data-driven problem solver with strong business acumen; ability to connect the dots on different information sources to come up with powerful insights 
  • Eyes for beauty and strong craftmanship skills with attention to detail, obsessed about each touch point consumers have for our brand 
  • The ability to prioritize, make recommendations, and steer decision making

Pay: The pay range for this position is $86,080 to $129,120. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs. 

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible. 

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
