As a Finance Manager you will partner with the business to ensure growth and to enable them to meet their financial goals, actively lead efforts to find opportunities and implement solutions to improve the financial performance of the business.

Who You Are & What You’ll Do

The Finance Manager Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) will own the coordination of the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and financial planning process. The manager will coordinate across the Finance Excellence Team including Custom Development, Brands, Categories, and Unilever North America Supply Chain Company, ensuring timelines and key deliverables are understood and met by all teams. The Finance Manager will also play a key role in leading and advancing the digital transformation initiatives as well as other simplification efforts.

The Finance Manger will also play a key role in the consolidation of financials across the Categories and Divisions. By providing an integrated financial perspective on the impact of business decisions, the Finance Manager makes recommendations and influences decisions that maximize value for the business.

  • Coordinates the financial planning process. Leads the Planning Core Team with representation from each of the key Finance teams involved
  • Manages the planning system; develop and trains super users for the Finance community to both support users. Drives system improvement opportunities.
  • Accelerates the digital finance transformation by supporting new pipelines initiatives and pioneering other technology improvements
  • Supports analytical and business frameworks as well as a quantitative approach to decision-making that shape the overall strategic course of the organization.
  • Consolidates financials across the business. Analyze financial forecast / key trends, assess current and future business risks, and communicate results to leadership
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with cross-functional business partners to develop annual financial plans and monthly forecasts with the ability to challenge the status quo.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA or CPA strongly preferred
  • Related financial planning and analysis experience with increasing responsibility and control
  • Prior work experience in finance areas of Finance Business Partnering and S&OP beneficial.
  • An enterprising and inquisitive nature that can find solutions to complex problems
  • Experience creating and implementing operational improvement solutions
  • Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly communicate results and implications of analysis
  • Experience communicating financial acumen effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Enjoys working in a collaborative team environment

Pay: The pay range for this position is $141,680 to $212,520. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
