JOB PURPOSE

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

· Execute Procurement of the B&W materials/services Portfolios: Decides who to buy from, how to buy, when to buy with relevant portfolio teams.

· Develop and implement strategies for the procurement of the respective portfolios.

· Follow market conditions, prepare price trends and formulate future markets trends for the business

· Support the business with accurate price forecasting. Prepares information on purchase prices and conditions to enable proper budgeting and cash forecasting. Communication of price trend in its totality to the local Finance team as an input to the business plan.

· Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality, service, and innovation. Responsible for the integration of supplier’s capabilities, logistics, and service requirements of Unilever manufacturing sites.

· Operational Excellence: manage the procurement process, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services while optimizing supply chain performance.

· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (e.g., finance, supply chain, R&D) to align procurement activities with business needs.

· Collaborate with supply chain and customer operations teams, including make, sourcing, planning, and logistics.

· Partner closely with BU team to meet project requirements

· Deliver the Operation Cash Flow and Working Capital plans for the specific materials/services and suppliers.

· Manage supply chain issues (e.g. crisis management) together with relevant teams

· Measure and manage overall performance of suppliers.

· To directly lead or co-ordinate large procurement projects him/herself as needed and continuously improve ways of working and optimize procurement activities.

· To lead the rationalization of suppliers, materials and services that meet Unilever's business requirements

· To lead procurement CM excellence programs

· In the context of our Partnerships Strategy, to identify, develop and manage strategic business relationships to enable implementation of the Unilever growth strategy, revenue achievement and new product development initiatives.

· Development of contingency plans and alternatives to ensure supply security. Build material resilience strategy and plans

· To support the sustainability agenda in the procurement of materials and services.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences & Qualifications

· Education: Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

· Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in procurement or supply chain management.

o Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

o Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

o Proven ability to lead and motivate teams.

o Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

o Experience in project management and integrated supply chain planning.
