In the Customer Development function, you will play a pivotal role in unlocking value and fostering lasting relationships with our customers. JOB PURPOSE

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

Customer Management-

  • Create & maintain positive business relationship with direct end customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives

  • Understand the customer strategy and the Unilever strategy and co-create plans with the customer to align actions for growth

  • Develop strategy for acquiring new customers and improve retention.

Negotiation

  • Close the deal with customers by negotiating trade terms, trade funding & counterparts according to Unilever strategy

  • Manage overall category investments for the customer

  • Share of Shelf, Face ups alignment with the account. Overall healthy share of shelf to be ensured in the category

Customer Business Plan

  • Lead and execute Joint Business Planning together with the customer in line with both organization & customer objectives

  • Develop account specific strategic plans to generate insights for customer/channel (in store layout, planogramming, traffic)

  • In store visibility/highlight display, continuously improve share of shelf vs competitor to amplify impact of product visibility on consumers

  • On shelf availability as per the stocking norm set for each SKU. Create and deploy planogram for various store types.

  • Ensuring service rates

  •  Preparing volume forecasts & plans

  •  Assortment catering to different formats/channels

Performance Evaluation-

  • Measure and review category performance; retail margins and customer profitability

  • Meet and exceed growth, revenue and market share

  • Land the innovation pipeline on time and in full.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Industrial System Engineer, or a related field is a minimum.

  • Minimum of +5 Years on Modern Trade Experience

Skills

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to analyse data, market trends, and competitive landscapes.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex strategies and concepts.

  • Proven ability to think strategically and develop comprehensive strategies to achieve business goals.

  • High Level of technical literacy in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
