Job Summary

We are looking for an exceptional Credit Controller who will be a key member of ANZ Customer Experience - Collect team, responsible and manage Off-shore Collect team on End-to-End Business Operational tasks from Cash Application, Cash Collection to Claims/Deductions validation and processing.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Manage blocked order approvals either in ERP system or via distributors within Schedule of Authority in timely fashion to meet cut off timeline.

  • Manage customer account creation process as per ANZ Credit policy and maintain current customer database.

  • Daily MDM (Customer master data) approvals to avoid incorrect billing.

  • Drive and performance management of the third-party service provider, address control & risk governance, identify process improvement opportunities as well as potential risks that require intervention and project support.

  • Monitor Off-shore team on periodic reconciliation between SAP and Newspage (distributor’s system).

  • Provide analysis and actionable insights for Value at Risk (BU VAR) to the ANZ leadership team as well as wider business stake holders (CD Leads).

  • Build strong working relationships with 3rd party Service provider, PDNs (Performance Delivery Network), CD team and distributors to land lowest overdue invoices and claims balances target.

  • Being a SME (subject matter expert) in accounts receivable providing insights to drive improvement in process and deliver target results.

  • Lead aged collection to 3rd party debt collection agency and review doubtful debt provision monthly.

  • Ad-Hoc tasks, for example: ANZ Credit limit review, being Collect Team’s Process Champion to improve current processes within all ERP Systems such as High Radius and SAP with 3rd Party support in Genpact.

  • Trusted Business Partner - Ability to build relationships with a wide range of people, both internally and externally.

  • Analytical Capability solving problems, identifying actions and insights.

  • Performance Management and holding others to account.

  • Experience of working in a changing environment, building processes.

  • Leading and building Teams.

Experiences & Qualifications

  • Previous experience in accounts receivable is a must.

  • Preferably experience in FMCG industry.

  • Accounting qualifications are preferred but not mandatory.

Leadership

  • High levels of drive & determination to deliver tangible results improvement.

  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills.

  • Ability to work with cross functional team environment.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
