JOB PURPOSE

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
You’re a dot connector and storyteller: You will support and interact with a large community of internal and external partners and stakeholders, and work with remote teams. You’re a culture & change champion: You will balance both factory and overall logistics priorities, and influence teams to adapt to new ways of thinking.
This role is responsible for delivering the production plan and ensuring strong line performance across key areas: Safety, Quality, OLE, adherence to AM standards, Productivity, and the overall Continuous Improvement agenda. FLMs possess solid mechanical skills and strong interpersonal qualities. They provide governance for a cluster of semi-autonomous teams, offering leadership and support in performance monitoring, overtime allocation, shift planning, and conflict resolution.
FLMs also lead improvement projects focused on optimizing operational processes. They have a solid understanding of the factory’s financial performance and apply their training in UMS methodologies and IP processes to guide teams in minimizing losses and eliminating waste. Additionally, they drive project initiatives that support broader factory goals. Problem-solving, coaching, and innovation are core competencies for success in this role.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
Lead site distribution operational processes.
Drive logistics cost reduction through optimization
Execution of standardized logistics systems, processes, KPI’s, and ways of working.
Customer service improvement through warehouse and transportation loss reduction using CI tools and methodology.
Carbon reduction through factory warehouse improvements, transportation efficiencies, and external collaboration activities.
Execute product group and site logistics strategy.
Manage site distribution budget and labor pool.
Experiences & Qualifications
Experience working with SAP required.
A completed bachelor’s degree.
Must be able to analyze factory and technical processes to identify opportunities for performance improvement. Strong coaching skills are a pre-requisite; enquiring, supportive, challenging.
