Unilever Future Leaders (trainees) have an extensive onboarding program, in which they start acquiring the necessary knowledge, skills and skills to fulfill their role effectively. The structured onboarding includes training, workshops, and interaction with Unilever senior leaders, at local and European level. This ensures that all Future Leaders are consistently trained and quickly integrate into Unilever; and thus make an impact on the business more quickly.
We think it is important that Future Leaders feel welcome and receive support from the organization during their transition to a challenging job. We believe this will ensure that they are successful in their role and can develop themselves more quickly.
All Future Leaders have a mandatory rotation in the "Field Force" field service in the first 2 months of their traineeship. This is intended to introduce Future Leaders to Unilever's core business early in their career, namely on the shop floor.
Various rotations take place within the UFLP program and Unilever is known for training participants to become strong Future Leaders. A rotation is a project or role that Future Leaders will work on for a specified, predetermined period during the program. All Future Leaders will do different rotations, the duration and amount depends on the discipline, among other things.
These rotations are intended to introduce you to different facets of Unilever and to develop our candidates into broadly oriented Future Leaders. It is therefore possible to do cross-functional rotations. This provides an in-depth and solid foundation of work experience, which can contribute to the growth of the trainee to an intended Manager role after the completion of the program.
Note* Depending on your creative thoughts you could also make several blocks for ‘learning three ways/onboarding/rotations’, if you think that would look better.
