JOB PURPOSE

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
• Identify the Services required for fulfilling the business/Technical requirements.
• Design end-to-end solutions on SAP BTP, covering Side By Side Extension, Application development and Automation.
• Manage build and deploy applications using SAP BTP services (CAP, Node.js, Java, UI5/Fiori, BPA etc).
• Manage Design, develop, and deploy custom Joule Skills using SAP Build.
• Knowledge of BTP subaccounts, entitlements, connectivity, security configurations, and performance optimization.
• Ensure compliance with Unilever’s design standards, security policies, and best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement and adoption of new SAP BTP capabilities.
• Collaborate with business teams, platform services, and external partners to deliver projects OTIF.
• Define and implement DevOps practices specifically for SAP BTP landscapes, ensuring alignment with enterprise integration and cloud strategy.
• Set up dashboards and alerts for SAP BTP services, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Embed DevSecOps principles, manage identity and access, and ensure compliance with Unilever security standards.
• Lead root cause analysis for platform issues and manage controlled releases.
• Work closely with architects, developers, and operations teams to streamline delivery and reduce time-to-market.
• Continuously evaluate new SAP BTP DevOps tools and practices for efficiency and cost optimization.
• Implement and enforce best practices for SAP development and BTP utilization.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences & Qualifications
• Minimum Experience: 8+ years in SAP technologies with at least 2+ years on SAP BTP.
• Proficiency in specific BTP services such as SAP Build, SAP build Workzone, SAPUI5/Fiori, ABAP, RAP, and Automation technologies.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA extensions on BTP.
• Strong experience in delivering large scale ERP transformation program
• Experience in DevSecOps areas like API Management destinations, Secure Framework etc
• Experience with specific SAP modules like Finance (FICO), Logistics (MM/EWM), or other business areas will be an added advantage

Preferred
• Certification in SAP BTP Solution Architecture.
• Relevant certifications in SAP, AI, or related fields are highly desirable.

Skills
• Strong understanding of SAP BTP Architecture & Services, Full-Stack Development, Low-code / no-code experience and pro-code tooling.
• Proficiency in ITIL principles, particularly Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
• Agile Delivery & Stakeholder Management.
• Knowledge on platform native services like IAS, XSUAA, Credential store, cloud connector etc
• Address and resolve technical issues and bugs promptly.
• Staying updated on the latest SAP technologies and industry trends is crucial.

• Work closely with functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions on the BTP platform.
