Reporting to theGreater Asia/ Indonesia/Greater ChinaSHE Director,you will be anawesome Safety leader to join our team in a dynamic role leading the Safety Health and Environment function for UnileverGreater AsiaHome CareBusiness Unit& acting as Country SHE Manager forThailand.

You will naturally relish building and improving our safety health and environmental initiatives across our three dynamic manufacturing sites(Minburi&Gateway ThailandBacNihHanoi)the widerHome Care CikarangSites as SHE Business Partner forHome CarewithinGreater Asia & Indonesiaas well as leading a team of3outstanding people. As part of the supply chain leadership teamforHome CareSHE, you will have a strong contribution to the step change, drive theSHEinitiativesof theHCfunctionand will help drive us to a world class safety andenvironmentalplatformalso being responsible for Security at sites.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Comprehensive understanding ofThailandOH&S, State Workers Compensation

  • Relevant experience in Workers Compensation, Self-Insurance, Return to Work & working withlocal authorities ofThailand

  • Has worked in a prior role where you have actively transformed safety, led a team have ingoted a passion for safety wellbeing and sustainability.

  • Goodtrack recordin not justSHEpartneringbut also being a OH&S advocate – someone who is a go to person specially with people who are at the front line or not familiar with OH&Saround theHome CareSites.

  • Can-do attitude and the ability to do the job hands on with one eye in the future

  • Strong analytical focus on reporting and governance

  • Execute Global and Regional Unilever SHE programs– responsible for driving and executing those programs inGreater Asia/ IndonesiaHome CareFunction. 

  • Leading incident/accident investigations and lessons learned, closing audit gaps & findingsin a timely manner

  • Bachelor’s degree, inSafety,Engineering, Science, Environment or higher

  • Leading Risk Assessments, Strong advocate of implementation of Engineering Controls

  • Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety (desirable), Chief Fire Warden, Injury Prevention Trainings/ Certificates (desirable)

  • Familiar with OH&S Management systemseg: ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 certifications.

  • Overseeing the DayToDay Safety & Security Agenda for the sites as Delivery SSHE leader for Home Care Greater Asia. Maintain & Upgrade the Safety/ Security Infrastructure as needed

  • Oversee & Coordinate Site Security Assessments & Execute Site Security & Safety Plans after ensuring the mandatory trainings are attended monthly

  • Business Partnering theHome CareSites for SHE in Greater Asia & Indonesia. 

  • Implementing Best Practices/ Sharing of Incidents/ Controls across theHome Care& the assigned NU/Foods Site

  • Act as theThailandCountry SHE Managerbeing the senior most SHE Person in the country, get involved when Incident Management Team is activated,supportthe GoToMarketThailand, Greater Asia as neededduring Emergencies/ Disasters.
