Job Purpose

The Customer Strategy & Planning (CSP)drives delivery of the commercial plan by developing and executing Category Growth Strategies from Business Group to country. It owns end-to-end commercial planning across customers and channels, including category strategies and execution. The team also builds core capabilities across NRM, Category Management, Shopper Marketing, and Insights to enable growth.

Main Responsibilities

The CSP Lead for Home Care drives Category Growth Strategy, Operations & Planning, and Shopper Marketing for the business unit.You will beaccountable for building strong category and commercial plans for both customers and Unilever, ensuring delivery of forecasts and business targets. Using integrated shopper, customer, and channel insights, they develop data-driven strategies, strengthen customer partnerships, and act as the key voice of the customer within IBP, D4C, and NRM.

The key responsibilities defined by main pillars:

1. Category Strategy & Growth

  • Lead the development of localized Category Growth Strategies, translating shopper, customer, and market insights into clear, compelling plans.

  • Drive customer engagement and joint business planning, acting as the voice of the shopper, customer, and category.

  • Own category growth management, including assortment optimization, space planning, and deployment of key NRM levers.

2. Commercial Delivery & Execution

  • Deliver commercial plans by deploying USG targets, managing budgets by channel/customer, and leading quarterly business reviews.

  • Lead end-to-end innovation planning and execution, ensuring effective market launches across channels and customers.

  • Drive best-in-class in-market execution through aligned commercial strategies, shopper marketing, SOS, and TDP delivery.

  • Own pricing, promotion, and mix strategy, including forecasting, performance reviews, and delivery of NRM levers.

3. Performance, Processes & Governance

  • Drive performance tracking through analytics, opportunity identification, and KPI monitoring across pricing and innovation.

  • Lead simplification and strengthening of processes (e.g., S&OP, CSP), enhancing efficiency and enabling a more strategic, COO-like role.

  • Ensure strong governance and operational discipline across business processes.

Candidate Criteria 

Experience & Expertise

  • 10+ years of experience in Sales orTrade Marketing

  • Proven track record in category growthandcommercial planning

  • Strong understanding of Thailand retail landscape preferred

Strategic & Functional Capability

  • Ability to translateshoppers, customer, and channel insights into clear Category Growth Strategies

  • Strong commercial acumen across pricing, promo, assortment, and space planning

  • Experience driving IBP, forecasting, and end-to-end commercial execution

Leadership &Performance Mindset

  • Strong stakeholder management with ability to influence across functions and seniority levels

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing, inclusive teams

  • Clear communicator with strong storytelling and ability to connect strategy to execution

  • Agile, resilient, and able to operate in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
