At Unilever, your career will be a unique journey, grounded in our inclusive, collaborative, and flexible working environment. We don’t believe in the ‘one size fits all’ approach and instead we will equip you with the tools you need to shape your own future.

Job Purpose
Unilever is the place where you can bring your purpose to life with the work that you do – creating a better business and a better world. If you are a passionate finance professional excited to work at the intersection of manufacturing operations and financial performance, this role is made for you!

As Assistant SCF Manager for Home Care Indonesia, you will partner closely with the factory team to drive Production Cost Per Ton (CPT) delivery, while taking ownership of the broader conversion cost landscape – including Logistics CPT, SC Indirect (Overheads), and Business Waste – as well as Inventory targets as part of the Cash Delivery framework. You will be a key finance partner in helping Home Care Indonesia achieve its business goals: Cost Leadership, Cash Delivery, and Forecast Accuracy & SCF 2.0.

Key Responsibilities
1. Production Cost Partnering

  • Partner with the Home Care factory team to drive Production CPT performance.

  • Lead monthly COGP (Cost of Goods Produced) rolling forecast for Home Care production, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business planning cycles.

  • Track and govern savings initiatives end-to-end: from identification and validation through to financial close, ensuring full traceability total net savings target.

  • Lead month-end closing activities for production cost including cost variance analysis, accruals, and commentary to senior stakeholders.

  • Drive Integrated Business Planning (IBP) for production cost, partnering with factory and BU teams on volume, productivity, and cost assumptions.

  • Evaluate and lead financial business cases related to production cost, collaborating with multifunctional teams (Manufacturing, Engineering, Procurement, etc.).

2. NMSCC Management (Logistics, SC Indirect & Business Waste)

  • Monitor and report on Logistics CPT performance, tracking progress against target Total Net Savings plan, in close coordination with the National SCF Team.

  • Oversee SC Indirect (Overhead) cost tracking: provide accurate periodic reporting, flag risks and opportunities, and support corrective action where needed.

  • Manage Business Waste (BW) reporting and governance, ensuring BW stays within the target through robust financial controls and cross-functional escalation.

  • Provide integrated conversion cost analysis, connecting Production, Logistics, Overheads, and Business Waste to give a complete picture of manufacturing financial performance.

3. Cash Delivery – Inventory

  • Own the financial tracking and governance of Inventory targets as part of the H1/H2 Cash Framework.

  • Partner with supply planning and operations teams to ensure inventory build/draw aligns with cash delivery phasing and business objectives.

  • Provide periodic Inventory reporting and variance analysis to the SCF Manager and BU Finance leadership.

4. Forecast Accuracy & SCF 2.0

  • Drive improvement in forecast accuracy for conversion costs.

  • Support the Production Business Planning & Cost Deployment UMS Implementation.

  • Champion SCF 2.0 initiatives within Home Care – including process automation, digitization, and continuous improvement of financial reporting tools and workflows.

5. Stakeholder Management & Financial Control

  • Act as the primary finance business partner for the Home Care factory team, building trusted relationships with Factory Managers, Supply Chain, and Engineering stakeholders.

  • Ensure full compliance with Unilever financial control frameworks, including adherence to GAS (Global Accounting Standards), internal audit requirements, and month-end SOPs.

  • Prepare and present financial performance updates for senior leadership, including GMC (General Management Committee) and BU SCF reviews.

Qualifications
Experience & Education

  • Minimum 2–3 years of working experience in finance, accounting, or management accounting; experience in an FMCG, manufacturing, or supply chain environment is a strong advantage.

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Prior exposure to factory finance or supply chain cost management is preferred but not required.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced) and PowerPoint – ability to build models, financial simulations, and executive-ready presentations.

  • Experience with SAP systems for cost centre reporting and period-end closing.

  • Familiarity with Unilever financial systems is advantageous.

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to accuracy, able to synthesise complex financial data into clear insights.

Interpersonal & Communication Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.

  • High degree of diplomacy and stakeholder sensitivity – comfortable engaging across factory floor teams, supply chain operations, and senior BU leadership.

  • Ability to influence without direct authority, translating financial data into actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders.

Leadership Behaviours
You are energised by delivering fantastic results and take personal ownership of your targets. You lead by example – in both the quality of your outputs and your resilience under pressure.

You are constantly looking for better ways to do things, engaging and collaborating with factory and BU partners along the way.
As an individual, you take responsibility for your own development and performance while keeping the end consumer and business impact at the centre of your work. You are intellectually curious – you have your head up, interpreting data smartly, spotting issues early, and proactively turning opportunities into action.

Unilever is an organisation committed to equity, inclusion and diversity to drive our business results and create a better future, every day, for our diverse employees, global consumers, partners, and communities. We believe a diverse workforce allows us to match our growth ambitions and drive inclusion across the business. At Unilever we are interested in every individual bringing their ‘Whole Self’ to work and this includes you! Thus if you require any support or access requirements, we encourage you to advise us at the time of your application so that we can support you through your recruitment journey.
