JOB PURPOSE

This role exists to drive excellence in transportation management with a primary focus on OTM. The role supports the design, deployment and continuous improvement of logistics solutions across Europe, ensuring alignment with global standards and enabling efficient, stable and scalable operations.

The role acts as a key interface between business operations, product teams and IT, ensuring that business requirements are translated into effective and sustainable solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as a subject matter expert for Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) and related transportation processes

  • Own and continuously improve transportation processes, ensuring standardisation across markets

  • Translate business requirements into effective functional and technical solution designs across OTM, SAP, and logistics systems (e.g., SmartShip, WIMT, eCMR)

  • Support end-to-end project and change delivery, including requirements gathering, design, testing, deployment, and hypercare

  • Review and validate solutions to ensure alignment with business needs and global frameworks

  • Lead or support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure business readiness for system changes

  • Serve as the point of contact for system-related queries, incidents, and escalations within the transportation domain

  • Collaborate closely with IT and product teams to resolve issues and maintain system stability

  • Identify opportunities to simplify, standardise, and automate transportation processes

  • Deliver training and knowledge transfer to operational teams and stakeholders across Europe

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in transportation management and logistics processes

  • Strong expertise in Oracle Transportation Management (OTM)

  • Understanding of end-to-end logistics processes and systems integrations (e.g., SAP, WIMT, SmartShip)

  • Experience in solution design, system implementation, or process improvement initiatives

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills

  • Professional proficiency in English

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working in complex, multi-market or European logistics environments

  • Exposure to Track & Trace platforms or similar visibility tools

  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration between business, IT, and external partners
