JOB TITLE: KEY ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

LOCATION: MALAYSIA

As a Key Account Executive, you will support sales growth by managing day to day activities for modern trade customers. You will help maintain good relationships with retailers, ensure in store execution is done well, and support trade promotions. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of agreed plans.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


1. Account & Relationship Management
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with HQ team, store managers and, buyers.
• Support account activities and follow up on daily operational matters.


2. In Store Execution
• Work closely with the operation team to ensure promotion are executed correctly.
• Ensure daily execution excellence and win in-store through strong fundamentals such as merchandising standards, promotion compliance, FIFO practices, and optimal shelf/display management.


3. Promotion & POSM Execution
• Support the execution of agreed promotions and POSM according to the company plan.
• Ensure promotional materials are displayed correctly and on time.


4. Internal Coordination
• Coordinate with internal teams (CSP, supply chain, operation) to ensure smooth execution of daily business activities.
• Help follow up on orders, stock availability, and promotion execution.


5. Market & Store Visits
• Conduct regular store visits to check execution and compliance.
• Prepare simple trade visit or market feedback reports.
• Observe competitor activities, pricing, promotions, and display execution in stores.
• Share market insights and improvement ideas with the team.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Willingness to learn and grow in key account management
• Hands on and execution focused mindset
• Good communication and teamwork skills

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in any field.
• Minimum one (1) to two (2) years’ work experience relevant to Account Management or Field Sales in FMCG industry.
