Job Title: Global Domestos Assistant Brand Manager, PowerFoam

Location: 100VE

The Opportunity

We are a global consumer goods organisation operating in a highly competitive home and hygiene category, with products sold in markets around the world. Our portfolio plays in everyday routines where performance, trust, and reassurance matter deeply to consumers.

This role offers the opportunity to work at the centre of a high‑priority innovation platform, helping to shape the future of how consumers experience cleaning and hygiene. You will be part of a global team focused on redefining category standards through insight‑led innovation, strong execution, and scalable strategies that win across markets.

If you are a curious, ambitious marketer who enjoys building from insight to impact — and who thrives in complex, fast‑moving environments — this is a chance to make a meaningful contribution at global scale.

JOB PURPOSE

This is a global brand and innovation role with end‑to‑end responsibility for a core platform within our Domestos portfolio. You will lead innovation and renovation projects from early consumer understanding through to launch and in‑market adoption, working closely with cross‑functional and regional teams.

The role blends strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery. You will be responsible for shaping compelling brand stories, guiding executional excellence, and ensuring ideas translate into clear commercial and consumer value.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead insight‑driven innovation and renovation to fuel sustainable brand and business growth
  • Identify emerging consumer needs, behaviours, and trends to unlock future category opportunities
  • Build robust business cases and manage projects end‑to‑end through formal innovation processes
  • Translate innovation opportunities into clear strategies, trade narratives, and launch plans
  • Develop strong briefs for communication, packaging, and experience design, partnering with creative and agency teams
  • Collaborate closely with R&D, Supply Chain, Finance, and regional teams to deliver projects with speed and quality
  • Support the development and deployment of global brand strategy
  • Work hand‑in‑hand with key markets to ensure relevance, adoption, and scalability

ALL ABOUT YOU

  • Strong consumer obsession, with the ability to turn insight into clear, motivating ideas
  • Excellent crafting skills: able to build compelling stories across strategy, innovation concepts, communication, and go‑to‑market plans
  • Ability to simplify complexity and create ideas that are both inspiring and executable
  • Strong analytical thinking and project management capability, with confidence running projects end‑to‑end
  • Experience in innovation development, ideally within a global or multi‑market context
  • A digital‑savvy mindset and understanding of modern communication ecosystems
  • Confidence influencing and collaborating across functions, cultures, and geographies
  • Comfort operating in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments with an agile, solution‑oriented approach
  • A proactive, accountable mindset with strong commercial acumen
  • Experience in global portfolio or innovation management is an advantage

Why This Role Matters

This role offers the chance to work on meaningful innovation at scale, influence how everyday routines evolve, and help shape the future of a highly competitive category. You will gain exposure to senior stakeholders, global markets, and end‑to‑end brand building — with real ownership and impact.

Recruitment Fraud

Cyber criminals advertise fake job adverts with prestigious employers as a way of stealing information or even defrauding individuals out of money. In the most sophisticated cases, they will set up fake websites, which have a similar address to companies like Unilever. They even conduct fake telephone interviews and then offer candidates a role with the proviso they pay a fee for background checks or to cover work visa costs. These types of attacks are becoming more common as more people are looking for employment in the economic climate.

How is Unilever tackling this?

Many of Unilever’s recruitment sites publish a warning to candidates about recruitment fraud. The Cyber Security team also proactively scan for signs of people setting up fake Unilever sites and act to close them down.

What can I do?

If you become aware of potential recruitment fraud, spot fake Unilever recruitment adverts or fake LinkedIn profiles, report them via Una Live Chat.

Unilever does not accept responsibility or liability for any candidates who are financially impacted by recruitment fraud. Your vigilance is key!
