JOB PURPOSE

This role exists to drive business growth by developing strong customer partnerships, executing strategic business plans, and delivering exceptional commercial results across assigned customers and brands in the Latvian market. With local market responsibility and a focus on managing and developing key retail customers, including Maxima, Rimi, and Drogas, the role leverages market insights, customer understanding, and cross-functional collaboration to achieve business objectives and create long-term value for both customers and the company. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contribute to the development and execution of joint business plans and strategic customer plans for assigned customers and brands, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage and develop relationships with key retail customers, including Maxima, Rimi, and Drogas, to achieve sustainable business growth and commercial targets.
  • Support the planning, implementation, and evaluation of promotional and advertising activities using data, customer insights, and market trends to maximize effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term customer partnerships by understanding customer needs and identifying opportunities for mutual growth.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance, to ensure seamless execution of commercial plans and excellent customer service.
  • Monitor sales performance, identify business opportunities, and recommend actions to improve results and drive sustainable growth.
  • Analyze market developments, competitor activities, and consumer trends to support informed business decisions.
  • Lead negotiations and contribute to achieving profitable agreements that support company objectives.
  • Ensure accurate reporting and regular performance reviews to support continuous improvement and strategic decision-making.
  • Embrace new tools, technologies, and ways of working to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Sales Representative, Key Account Manager, or similar commercial role.
  • Very good command of Latvian and English, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated adaptability, flexibility, entrepreneurial mindset, and willingness to learn new technologies and business processes.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working within the FMCG, retail, or consumer goods industry.
  • Knowledge of category management principles and customer planning processes.
  • Experience managing major retail accounts and using sales analytics, reporting tools, or CRM systems.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Monthly gross base salary €3,047 - €3,688 (depending on experience);
  • Monthly and quarterly bonus (up to 40% of the annual salary)
