About this job:


As a Trade Marketeer, you will be the expert in marketing collaborations with trade partners. You will be closely collaborating with these trade partners to create effective omnichannel marketing campaigns using their touchpoints, maximizing sales conversion while prioritizing digital touchpoints. In addition, you will help to drive the eCommerce strategy to ensure maximum exposure and conversion of the UFS portfolio across channels. You will also be assisting in category management for both internal and external stakeholders, by reviewing our different product categories based on data and operator insights.

Main accountability of the job:

  • You collaborate closely with our trade partners to understand their needs and maximize strategic growth opportunities for UFS.

  • You will have full end-to-end marketing responsibilities for some selected wholesalers.

  • Craft relevant, need-based marketing campaigns by identifying growth opportunities through data and insights, beneficial to both UFS and its Trade Partners.

  • You will work, together with your trade marketing manager, and an intern that supports you with all campaign executions.

  • Plan, execute and optimize customer journeys by identifying the most effective (on and offline) touchpoints at trade partners driving maximum conversion.

  • Convince partners to commit to performance-based marketing using data for both input and output. Major improvements can be made in marketing performance management.

  • Execute the eCommerce strategy and operations through Perfect Store Online and an increased emphasis on availability and findability on 3rd party platforms.

  • Defines eCommerce content needs and implements content warehousing and flows to 3rd party web shops and others compatible with industry standards.

  • You are the go-to person for category management execution: you use available resources and data to create category reviews.

  • Empower both internal and external customers with relevant category information, to allow us to win with Trade Partners and end users.

Main business partnering of the job:


Ensures KPIs for the operator groups are met and participate in idea generation and execution through multidisciplinary team. Key interfaces are amongst others:

  • Trade Partners & Trade Partner marketing & sales Teams

  • Marketing – lead, operator, Digital / Automation and Portfolio

  • Account managers

  • Unilever Operations (Masterdata)


ALL ABOUT YOU

  • You have 5+ years of experience in category management, eCommerce, sales or trade marketing.

  • You love partnering with trade (our clients) to build value propositions and campaigns that create growth and value to their business, whilst simultaneously driving reach and penetration for UFS.

  • You have a good understanding of different shopping missions, operator lifecycle, buying journeys, local RTM channel landscapes and understanding of their touchpoints.

  • You have experience in generating insights with 3rd party transactional and behavioural data.

  • You have a natural eagerness to truly understand the pains and gains of your target audience. Understand how they think and act, focusing on Trade Partners primarily.

  • You have a good understanding of 7 Omnichannel Assets (7OA) and why it is important and can improve Perfect Store online scores with better 7OA implementation.

  • You have excellent project management planning skills.

  • Ability to properly analyse the results of campaigns and optimize them accordingly.

  • Fluency in Dutch (MANDATORY)

  • Experience in Food Service/OOH Food (MANDATORY)

  • Desirable; passion for food
