Job Title: Customer Management Supervisor - Unilever International

Job Responsibilities:

Innovation & MIK Product Development

  • Led MIK (Made in Korea) innovation projects through collaboration with Korean OEM/ODM partners.
  • Owned full-cycle MIK development including ideation, feasibility, formulation, packaging, qualification, costing, and commercialization.
  • Acted as the commercial and innovation interface among R&D, RA/QA, Packaging, Sourcing, Planning, and local factories to ensure speed-to-market.
  • Ensured full compliance with Korean regulatory and quality standards.
  • Identified opportunities for Korea-originated innovations with scale-up potential across regions or global markets.
  • Ensured alignment with category strategies, channel needs, and customer requirements.

Trade & eCommerce Campaign Management

  • Planned and executed trade and digital commerce strategies to meet growth targets.
  • Developed and optimized loyalty programs and joint campaigns with key retail partners.

Content Development & Activation

  • Created compelling commercial selling stories and omnichannel content to drive conversion.
  • Managed POS materials and coordinated operator engagement through events and digital channels.

Data Insights & Performance Optimization

  • Analyzed digital commerce and omnichannel KPIs to drive investment efficiency.
  • Identified market and shopper trends to uncover growth drivers and inform strategy.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partnered closely with CS&P, CBD, Marketing, Finance, R&D, and Innovation teams.
  • Led resolution of category issues and opportunities, aligning local execution with Business Group strategies.
  • Represented trade marketing insights in innovation projects.

Project Management & Executional Excellence

  • Tracked milestones, mitigated risks, and ensured timely project completion.
  • Utilized project‑tracking tools to maintain stakeholder alignment.

Commercial & Strategic Acumen

  • Integrated NPD into broader category and channel strategies.
  • Evaluated consumer insights and market trends for effective product positioning.

Creative & Analytical Thinking

  • Developed consumer‑centric propositions and claims.
  • Applied critical thinking to navigate ambiguous or complex challenges.

Stakeholder Management & Communication

  • Influenced internal and external partners through strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Delivered clear, structured briefs and communicated commercial and technical requirements.

Experience Required & Qualifications

Essential:

  • 5–7+ years in CS&P, trade marketing, and marketing roles within FMCG.
  • Experience in customer, category, and brand management.
  • Fluent in English.

Preferred:

  • Experience in multinational companies.
  • Strong financial and business acumen.
  • Understanding of NRM (Net Revenue Management).
  • Knowledge of the Korean retail landscape.
  • Ability to integrate category insights into holistic brand & channel strategies.
  • Strong results orientation and decision-making in ambiguity.
  • Empowering leadership and accountability.
  • Strategic agility and digital fluency.
  • Strong internal and external networking capabilities.

Travel Requirements

  • Occasional travel for trade visits within Korea; no regular international travel required.
