General Description
Responsible for assisting in the overall management of the Oral Care processing manufacturing unit, focusing on production efficiency, quality control, and continuous improvement initiatives within P.T. Unilever Indonesia, Tbk.

Basetown Location: Surabaya

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the Manufacturing Manager in planning, organizing, and controlling the daily production operations of the Oral Care processing unit to meet production targets and schedules.

  • Monitor and analyze production performance data, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.

  • Ensure adherence to all safety, health, environment (SHE), and quality standards (e.g., GMP, ISO) within the processing area.

  • Lead and develop a team of production operators and supervisors, fostering a culture of high performance, safety, and continuous learning.

  • Optimize process parameters and equipment utilization to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize downtime.

  • Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and quality assurance departments to resolve technical issues and implement process improvements.

  • Manage inventory of raw materials and finished goods within the processing unit, ensuring efficient flow and minimal stockouts.

  • Participate in new product introductions and process scale-up activities.

  • Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, challenges, and improvement plans.


Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Food Technology, or a related technical field.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in the FMCG industry, with a focus on processing or oral care production.

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing principles, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., TPM, Six Sigma).

  • Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., GMP, ISO) and safety regulations.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and make data-driven decisions.

  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and adapt to changing priorities.
