JOB PURPOSE

If you are able to Manage the end to end delivery of capital engineering projects. May be dedicated to deliver a single project of significant size or a portfolio of smaller projects. Responsible for all aspects of the day to day management of projects including stakeholder engagement, contractor management, site safety, budget management then this role is just for you!
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
- On ground execution for all Mechanical activities to support Engineering manager in Project execution at the assigned projects across the country,
- On Time In Full (OTIF) end to end delivery of assigned capital projects adhering to Unilever standards and ensuring safety as our number 1 priority
- Understand the project scope and prepare cost estimates as per guidelines
- Managing Capex proposals and approval cycles to meet the KPIs related to project cost and savings.
- Develop layouts, options considering constrains of the factory and evaluate each of the option.
- Refer Core Designs developed by Global Engineering, using standardised modules and equipment.
- Prepare execution Network with the help of Factory Team
- Carry out execution of the proposal by keeping track on procurement, Capex Vs Budgets Ensure safe execution keeping Unilever Safety Standards and meeting quality of execution.
- Complete the project – through the EEM 7 steps and/or standard project management process
- Development and maintenance of good stakeholder relationships
- Engage with Category Marketing, Planning, Engineering teams for feasibility studies of Innovation and Saving projects.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Experiences & Qualifications
- Professional Mechanical Engineering (Educated to degree standard in an engineering discipline)
- Project Management experience. 3-5 Years experience of Project delivery in FMCG / related Industry or gained in an engineering consultancy environment
- 1+ years operating in a management role.
- PMP is a plus
