The main purpose of the P2P manager role is to prepare payments to vendors based on the internal control policies and procedures.
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
Responsible for payments to suppliers as stipulated in the contracts signed by Unilever and the Supplier.
Responsible to the Financial Accountant for the efficient management of local suppliers.
Exploit IT systems (SAP, CORA, Tradeshift etc) to track suppliers invoices up to payment/filing stage.
Reconciliation of supplier’s accounts.
Payments to suppliers
Ensure suppliers are paid within agreed credit terms.
Identify and address any weakness in the creditor management and accounts payable process
Reconciliation of supplier’s accounts
Ensure suppliers accounts are reconciled monthly
Issues arising are cleared by end of following month
Ensure the dividend account is reconciled monthly, and issues resolved promptly.
Results
Make sure all major expenditures are captured in the month in which they occur.
Ensure accruals are made for services rendered without invoices at month ends.
Provide credible OCF forecast for creditors.
Ensure a follow up on pending payments with the 3rd party service providers.
Oversee the reconciliation and clearing of long outstanding of payments on the advance account.
Ensure that the unvouchered account is reconciled at month end.
Experiences & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
3 – 5 years experience in Finance/ Reporting
Proven experience in a P2P or similar role.
Strong understanding of financial processes.

Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with different teams.
