The Electrical and Control Engineer will manage the end-to-end delivery on electrical upgrades and controls and automation of large-scale capital project in GA B&W BU. Will drive the engineering masterplan for electrical systems and controls and automation aligned with the Unilever design teams.

Main Responsibilities

  • Leads design and delivery of electrical, controls and automation projects in GA B&W, especially the large scale transformation projects, and ensures company standards are followed. 
  • On Time In Full (OTIF) end to end delivery of assigned capital projects adhering to Unilever standards and ensuring safety as our number 1 priority.
  • Provides technical expertise on electrical and control systems: SCADA, PLC, HMI, DCS, variable speed control, servo-motion control, etc.
  • Provides technical expertise in software modification and optimizing programming.
  • Participates in establishing BU-wide best practices and standards for electrical engineering and controls and automation.
  • Co-work with BU engineers such as packing, process, utility engineers on the equipment electrical and control system design and delivery.
  • Co-work with BG Engineering, site digital team and company IT team to build up the factory IOT network and digital system masterplan plan.

Candidate Criteria

Experience & Qualification

  • BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical degree
  • 5 + years of Project Engineering in FMCG
  • Project Management experience with electrical / controls and automation systems

Skill

  • Process and packaging electrical hardware knowledge
  • Software / PLC programming expert knowledge
  • OT network expert knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a high-paced team-oriented environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office – Excel / Power Point and Word
  • Working knowledge on Engineering software - AutoCAD, Solid works, MS Project
